The Lougheed Village Bar & Grill is a relaxed pub in Burnaby. It features big screens for sports, as well as arcade games and tasty bar food.
Years ago, in the 1970s, the Lougheed Village Bar & Grill was the largest bar in BC! It’s not as big anymore, but still pretty big, especially for a place hidden underneath an apartment complex. If you are in the Lougheed neighbourhood, especially with a group of friends, we recommend you check it out.

Sports Bar at Lougheed Village Mall
The Lougheed Village Bar & Grill offers casual dining, drinks and various forms of entertainment. Guests can play pool and darts. There are multiple pinball machines, skee-ball, shuffleboard and an air hockey table. Plus, the pub features projector screens and several televisions showing live sports.
The bar isn’t a fancy or modern place. It has more of a rustic design. However, the food and drinks are great, and there are so many fun things to do! Instead of spending money on decor, the place focuses on good pub-style food at great prices. The pub has wood floors, wooden walls, and games and TV screens all around. It looks a lot like how it was when it first opened back in the 1970s, which adds to its charm.
Location, Directions & Hours
The Lougheed Village Bar & Grill is located at 9304 Salish Court in Burnaby. It’s in the basement at Lougheed Village Mall. The shopping centre isn’t so special, but the sports bar is.
The place is about a 10-minute walk from the Lougheed Town Centre SkyTrain Station. However, the pub might be a little challenging to find at first. It’s actually in the Lower Mall section of the Lougheed Village Mall, which is different from The City of Lougheed shopping centre in the same neighbourhood. Once you park at or walk to the address, look for the green entrance sign just beside the high-rise building. Head downstairs and the pub will be on your left.
The place is open daily but hours vary. At the time of writing this article, Monday hours are from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, while Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday hours are from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, the pub operates from 11:30 am until 1:00 am. Lastly, Sunday hours are from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
TIP: Don’t pay for parking at the meter. Register your licence plate at the restaurant and you can park for free!

Food and Drink Menus
The Lougheed Village Bar & Grill offers an extensive collection of beverages. With around 20 different beers on tap, along with a couple dozen beer bottle and can varieties, there are so many drinks to choose from. Plus, the place offers several different cocktails, four different wines, and multiple non-alcoholic drinks. Happy Hour runs daily until 6:00 pm at the bar.
In terms of food, the breakfast menu offers staples such as steak & eggs, omelettes, chicken & waffles, and more. For lunch and dinner, there are soups, salads, nachos, dry ribs, perogies, and other tasty items. Mains include burgers, falafel wraps, fish & chips, New York steak, braised beef stuffed yorkies and other dishes. For dessert, there are sugar waffles, cookies, molten lava cake and a couple of other options.
The place also offers daily specials. For example, some days offer discounts on wine and select drinks, while others feature deals on specific dishes. Saturdays are Steak Nights. When we went we had the bacon-wrapped tenderloin and the 10 oz New York steak. Both were delicious and came to less than $30, and five coconut shrimp on the side were just an extra $6.
When we went we also had the Titan Tots, which are like nachos, but with tater tot potatoes. They are also really good. Their wings are great too, with a good amount of meat on them. For dessert we had the waffles with ice cream. It was quite decadent. We think they deep fry them, which made them extra tasty!
