Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

Beyond Van Gogh is a touring exhibition that was in the Lower Mainland in early 2023. It’s an immersive experience showcasing the famous works of the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. The attraction has already impressed various cities across the United States and Canada. The popular exhibition arrived in Surrey at the beginning of February 2023 and stayed for just over a month.

Taking place in an area measuring over 30,000 square feet, Beyond Van Gogh is the largest immersive exhibition in Canada.

At the exhibition, guests can see images of over 300 Van Gogh paintings in fascinating detail and size. Organizers expect most visitors to spend about one hour on average enjoying the experience.

Other Information

Note: The company behind the attraction, Paquin Entertainment, is the same company behind the Beyond King Tut exhibition which was in Vancouver between November 2022 and January 2023. The company was also behind the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. which was in Burnaby in the spring and summer of 2023.

Although similar in subject matter and style of exhibition, Imagine Van Gogh and Beyond Van Gogh are unrelated. The former was created by a French company and the latter by Montreal’s Normal Studio. If you have been to Beyond King Tut, or Imagine Picasso or Imagine Van Gogh, and liked them, you’ll no doubt really enjoy Beyond Van Gogh too. Their shows are impressive!
