The Boundary Bay Airshow features airplanes, stunt planes and family-friendly fun in July at Boundary Bay Airport in Delta. Admission is free.
In 2023 the event took place on Saturday, July 22nd. Other events that happened over that same weekend elsewhere in the Lower Mainland included the Odlum Brown Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival, Port Moody Ribfest and Honda Celebration of Light Fireworks Competition. The date for the show’s return in 2024 is still to be confirmed.
The Boundary Bay Airshow
Unlike the Abbotsford International Airshow, the airshow in Delta is free to attend. Chilliwack Flight Fest is also free. The Abbotsford event happened on August 11th to 13th in 2023. The Chilliwack one was the following weekend, on the Saturday and Sunday of August 19th and 20th. The event in Delta, is just a one-day event, on a weekend in the middle of July.
Dates & Location Details
The 2023 Boundary Bay Airshow ran from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 22nd. Gates opened at 11:00 am.
The event took place at Boundary Bay Airport, located at 7800 Alpha Way in Delta. The venue is close to Kings Links by the Sea golf course and the Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Mall.
On-site parking at the airport is limited and costs $25. Free parking, however, is available at Paterson Park (5800 Clarence Taylor Crescent) and East Ladner Parking Lot (4626 88th Street). Both lots are quite a walk away from the airport, but free shuttles are available every 15 minutes starting at 9:45 am on the day of the event.

As of mid-July, the 2023 performance schedule was to be confirmed. Copies of the schedule could be picked up at the event’s entrance.
