Canada Cup Softball Championships
Two years ago, the main part of the tournament started on Canada Day. That’s when Canada played its first two games against New Zealand and Mexico. Canada then played the Philippines on July 2nd, Israel on the 3rd, and Hong Kong on the 4th.
In 2025 the Canada Cup Women’s International Softball Championship featured four other divisions besides the senior international games. They included Futures Select (U19), Futures Gold (U19), Showcase Select (17U) and Showcase Gold (17U). As many as 1,700 female athletes at club and national levels participated in the tournament.
In 2025, the two “Select” divisions played their tournament games from July 4th to July 7th. The “Gold” divisions played from July 4th to 13th, the same as the senior teams.
BASEBALL IN VANCOUVER
If you like baseball you should also check out the games with the Vancouver Canadians at Nat Bailey Stadium. In July 2025 the team had games on the 1st to 3rd, 18th to 20th, and 22nd to 27th. The games on July 3rd, 19th and 26th also included fireworks.
Where do the Games Take Place?
The Canada Cup takes place each year at Softball City, the premier softball complex in the Lower Mainland. Softball City has four diamonds, over 1,500 seats, a bar and grill, and a large parking lot to accommodate all the athletes, family and friends who come to take part in the tournament.
The complex is at the north end of South Surrey Athletic Park, located at 2201 148th Street in Surrey.
