Greendale Acres hosts the Chilliwack Corn Festival in the summer. The event features corn-related competitions, live music and other family-friendly activities.
In 2026 the corn festival happens on the BC Day Long Weekend as well as on the following Saturday and Sunday. Also at the farm this year is the Sundown Music Series on Saturdays in August. On the Labour Day Long Weekend, meanwhile, there is the Summer Sendoff Festival. Between these various events, there is lots of corn, other foods, music and fun times to be had at the farm!
(Note: Greendale Acres is where the famous Chilliwack Corn Maze takes place in late summer and the fall, and events like the Chilliwack Plowing Match and Sweet Spring Flower Festival happen in the spring. It’s also a place where you’ll find all sorts of amazing farm-related games and activities for children.)

Chilliwack Corn Festival in the Fraser Valley
Greendale Acres is a farm in Chilliwack with a variety of family-friendly attractions and events to check out throughout the year. The property has farm animals, a couple of giant jumping pillows, and a wide range of playground structures.
Greendale Acres usually opens around Easter and remains open for a few weeks for the Sweet Spring Flower Festival. Later in the year the farm has a series of special events celebrating the summer season and the annual opening of its Corn Maze.
The Chilliwack Corn Festival debuted on the BC Day Long Weekend a couple of years ago and it’s back for the third time in 2026!
Full of sweet corn and fun at the farm, the festival has corn-eating and corn-shucking contests. There’s delicious sweet corn and corn-based dishes to eat. The Chilliwack Corn Festival is also a licensed event, meaning there are alcoholic beverages available too. Live music takes place each day.
See the greendaleacres.ca website for full details about the Chilliwack Corn Festival (and other activities at the farm).
