EMV Summer Music Festival

Formerly known as the Vancouver Bach Festival, the EMV Summer Festival is an exploration of traditional music presented by Early Music Vancouver. Each year the festival has a different theme. In 2026 it’s The Power of Music.

The EMV Summer Festival runs from July 31st to August 7th in 2026. There are 11 concerts happening over the course of the summer at various venues in Vancouver.

There’s also usually a fundraising gala that happens a couple days before the festival began. As of mid-June, it’s unclear whether or not there will be one in 2026.
