Vancouver’s Red Truck Brewery Summer Concert Series

Concert Crowds at the Red Truck Stop

The Red Truck Concert Series is an evening of live music featuring multiple bands at Vancouver’s Red Truck Brewery on a couple of Saturdays in the summer.

Concerts at Red Truck Brewery

At the concerts hundreds of people turn out to listen to about half a dozen different bands. With a stage at either end of the brewery’s parking lot, it’s a fantastic event at a great venue.

Last year the Red Truck Summer Concert Series took place on three Saturdays. There was a concert in mid-June, mid-July and mid-August. In 2019, however, there were just two events instead of the regular three.

2019 dates for the events were June 15th and July 20th. 2020 dates are to be confirmed.

As of May 2020 all Red Truck events are suspended until further notice. This is due to the spread of the novel coronavirus and the restrictions on gatherings of more than 50 people. As such, the Red Truck Summer Concerts may or may not be taking place in 2020. Exact details are to be confirmed.

About the Red Truck Concerts

Red Truck Concert Series concerts take place at the Red Truck Brewery in Vancouver at 295 East 1st Avenue from around 4 to 10 pm on each of the event dates in the summer. Admission is between $35 and $50 or so per day and tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Early bird tickets start at around $35. In past years, when they had a third event in August as well, you could attend all three events for $75.

The concerts feature about six or so different bands each night and take place outdoors in the parking lot at the Red Truck Brewery. It doesn’t feel at all like a parking lot though it feels more like a courtyard designed especially for this kind of event. It’s a perfect venue with a stage at each end so bands can set up and be ready to play right after each other.

The concert courtyard is right next to the brewery’s building, which has an indoor restaurant and outdoor patio. Food and drinks are served both indoors and outside.
