Northwest Just for Laughs Comedy Fest

The Just for Laughs Northwest Comedy Fest is a festival featuring a series of live comedy performances at various venues in Vancouver in February 2019.

Northwest Comedy Fest 2018

In 2018 the Northwest Comedy Fest festival ran from March 1st to 10th and ticket prices started at about $10. Some events are for folk ages 19+ and others are for all ages.

In 2019 the festival runs from February 14th until the 23rd.

JFL NorthWest Block Party

On March 7th to 9th in 2018 JFL NorthWest Comedy Fest presented a free block party in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza from 5 to 10 pm each day. At the event there was comedy, food trucks and other entertainment.


2018 Comedy Fest Schedule

Below is a list of just some of the many comedy performances that took place during the JFL Northwest Comedy Fest in Vancouver in 2018.

March 3, 2018

  • Maria Bamford – the star from the Netflix comedy show Lady Dynamite and frequent voice actress performed at the Vogue Theatre at 918 Granville Street at 7 pm on Saturday, March 3rd. Tickets for audience members ages 19+ were about $33.

March 5, 2018

  • Brian Regan – the popular comedian performed at the Vogue Theatre at 918 Granville Street on Monday, March 5th at 7 pm. Tickets were $52.50.

March 7 & 8, 2018

  • Bill Burr – the American stand-up comedian, actor and voice actor from the animated Netflix show F Is For Family performed three times at the Orpheum Theatre at 601 Smithe Street over the two evenings. Tickets were between $44.50 and $62.50 for folk ages 19+.

March 7, 2018

  • Jo Koy – the Los Angeles-based comedian performed at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at 630 Hamilton Street on Wednesday, March 7th, at both 7 and 9 pm. Tickets were between $37.50 and $54.50.

March 8-10, 2018

  • Nikki Glaser –  the star and creator of the Comedy Central series Not Safe performed at the Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club at 2837 Cambie Street on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of March 8th to 10th. Tickets are $25.

March 9, 2018

  • Trevor Noah – the popular South African comedian who hosts The Daily Show entertained at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at 630 Hamilton Street on Friday, March 9th, at both 7 and 9 pm.
  • Mike Birbiglia –  the comedian performed his “The New One” routine at the Vogue Theatre at 918 Granville Street on Friday, March 9th, at both 7 and 9:30 pm. Tickets were $39.50.

March 10, 2018

  • Jay Pharoah – the Saturday Night Live actor and comedian performed at the Vogue Theatre at 918 Granville Street on Saturday, March 10th, at 9:30 pm. Tickets were $39.50.
