The Earlybird RV Show and Sale is a large recreational vehicle trade show featuring motor homes, RV camping equipment, exhibitors and seminars in Abbotsford.
The next Earlybird RV Show & Sale takes place at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford from February 19th to 22nd, 2026. Hosted annually in late winter, the event marks the unofficial kickoff to the spring and summer RV season.
If you own an RV, are thinking about buying one, need new RV gear, or simply want to learn more about the RV lifestyle, this is one of the best events of the year to attend. In early autumn, there is also the Snowbird RV Show at the same venue. It takes place from September 17th to 20th in 2026.

Earlybird RV Show at Tradex in Abbotsford
The 2026 Earlybird RV Show & Sale happens from Thursday, February 19th to Sunday, February 22nd at Tradex in Abbotsford. It is a multi-day event.
The Earlybird RV Show & Sale is one of the largest RV events in Western Canada, making it the best place to enjoy or learn about the RV lifestyle. In British Columbia, the Earlybird RV Show ranks second in size, behind the Snowbird RV Show (hosted by the same organization in the fall).

The space offers more than 120,000 square feet of indoor space, with over 45 exhibitor booths and around 24 different seminars over four days. There is so much to see at the show, and lots of great deals too.

What to Expect
Expect to see lots of recreational vehicles at the show. There are trailers, motorhomes and fifth wheelers including tiny RVs, giant ones, ultra fancy ones and more basic ones. All the vehicles are for sale, many of them at great discounts. If you want to buy a new vehicle, this is a super place to do that and get a good deal.
There are other things to see and buy at the show as well. There are vendors selling all kinds of RV-related equipment. The last time we went we spent about three hours going inside and looking around vehicles and we still didn’t manage to inspect them all. There was so much to see. And if you attend all the seminars, you can have fun there all day.
The Earlybird RV Show is similar to the Snowbird RV Show which takes place in the fall, but there are definite differences. Both events are about the same size, though the one in autumn might be slightly bigger. The average vehicle at the Snowbird RV Show, though, is definitely bigger. The focus of that event is for people who move south for the winter and live in their vehicles for months at a time (so they typically want larger RVs and nicer amenities). The Earlybird RV Show is more for people who camp in the spring, summer, and early fall.
TIP: It’s fun to go inside the vehicles to see what you like and what you don’t. The layouts are all different, with things like cupboards, beds, the washroom and kitchen table in different places. Looking at the various options is a great way to figure out what you really want in an RV.
Visit the Earlybird RV Show website for full details about the event.

Earlybird RV Show Seminar Schedule
In addition to all of the exhibitor booths and recreational vehicles to check out at the event, the Earlybird RV Show & Sale features the Seminar Stage in Hall A. It’s an area where people can gather around to watch interesting demonstrations and talks. There are safety tips, tutorials and more to take in.
As of mid-December, the 2026 seminar schedule has not yet been released. For an idea of what you can expect, below is a schedule from a previous year for reference.

Earlybird RV Show Video
The video below shows what the Earlybird RV Show looked like in 2023. As you’ll see, there are recreational vehicles of all shapes and sizes. They come in a wide range of prices too.
The video offers unique glimpses inside some of the RVs. If you’ve never been to an RV Show before, or even been inside a luxury motor home, this video will give you an idea of what to expect. You can go right inside the vehicles, snoop around, and then even buy one or just dream.
Many of the vehicles you’ll see at the Earlybird RV Show are really nice. You’ll also see more basic ones, plus every kind of accessory you could possibly imagine (or almost every kind).
