Community Block Party in Chilliwack

The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival hosts a Community Block Party in a number of different locations this spring and summer. One of its stops is in Chilliwack for two days in the month of June. There are also events in Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam and Langley.

In 2022 the Chilliwack Community Block Party takes place on the weekend of June 4th and 5th at the Chilliwack Coliseum. The venue is located at 45323 Hodgins Avenue. On the Saturday, the event runs from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. On the Sunday, it runs from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm, so for one hour less. The event is free to attend.

This year, on both June 4th and 5th, the event features around twenty or so food trucks. In 2022, the Community Block Party also has a small market with local vendors selling a variety of products.

As with all events hosted by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, live entertainment runs for most of the weekend as well.

 

2022 Food Trucks and Vendors

In 2022, both days of the Chilliwack Community Block Party feature about twenty food vendors. Some of the food trucks are at the event for the whole weekend. On both the Saturday and Sunday, the market also features eight or so different market vendors selling a variety of artisan products.

Food Truck Schedule

In 2022 there are over a dozen food trucks scheduled to be at the Chilliwack Community Block Party on June 4th. On June 5th, meanwhile, as many as twenty-one food trucks will likely be on site.

Local Market Vendors

In 2022 there are eight or so market vendors on both June 4th and June 5th. The vendors are local businesses that offer high quality products ranging from soaps and candles to home décor and clothes. Most market vendors are there on both days, but a couple are only there for one day.

Live Entertainment

At the event a variety of musicians and DJs provide the entertainment. On the Saturday in 2022 there is Steve Marriot, DJ H20 and Funk Romance. Entertaining on the Sunday are DJ H20, Jada MacKenzie Moore and Ranj Singh.
