The Chilliwack Party in the Park is a Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event with live music, a market and food trucks. Admission is free.
In 2024 the event takes place on the weekend of May 4th and 5th at Central Community Park in Chilliwack.

Chilliwack Party in the Park
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival hosts events at a number of different locations during the spring and summer. One of its stops in 2023 was in Chilliwack during the month of April. The festival stopped in Chilliwack again in August last year. It’s back in Chilliwack for two days in early May this year.
The Chilliwack Party in the Park runs on May 4th and 5th in 2024. It’s held at Central Community Park, located at 45951 Victoria Avenue. On the Saturday, the event runs from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. On the Sunday, it runs from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm, so for one hour less.
The event is free to attend and has both a Star Wars and Cinco de Mayo theme. Folks are encouraged to dress in costumes for a chance to win a prize. As usual, the event features food trucks and an artisan market with local vendors. There’s also a beer garden and activities for kids. As with all events hosted by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, live entertainment runs for most of the day as well.

As of late March, food trucks and vendors at the 2024 event are to be confirmed.
Last year, the Chilliwack event featured about 20 food vendors. Some of the food trucks were likely at the event for the whole weekend. On both the Saturday and Sunday, the market also featured a dozen or so different vendors selling a variety of artisan products.

Local Market Vendors
In the spring of 2023 there were 12 or so market vendors on-site at the event. The vendors were local businesses that offered high quality products ranging from soaps and candles to baked goods and jewelry. The 2024 event will likely feature a similar market. Exact details, however, are to be confirmed.

Live Entertainment
At the event a variety of musicians and DJs provide the entertainment each year. On the first day of the April 2023 event, performers included Stan Giles, The Rundown and Appaloosa. Entertaining on the second day were Tailgators, Duane Watson and Sanctuary.
