Mo Bacon Food Truck

The Chilliwack Party in the Park is a Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event with live music, a market and food trucks. Admission is free.

The event takes place at Central Community Park in Chilliwack in spring. In addition to food, entertainment and artisan vendors, there is a beer garden.

Last year the event took place on the weekend of May 4th and 5th. In 2025 it happens on the Saturday and Sunday of April 26th and 27th.

Other Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival events happening earlier in the same month this year are the Food Truck Festival at UBC on April 3rd and 4th and Food Truck Wars at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey on April 11th to 13th.

Chilliwack Party in the Park

The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival hosts events at a number of different locations during the spring and summer including in Chilliwack.

Chilliwack Party in the Park happens on April 26th and 27th in 2025. It’s held at Central Community Park located at 45951 Victoria Avenue. On the Saturday the event runs from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. On the Sunday, it runs from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm, so for one hour less.

The event is free to attend and features food trucks and an artisan market with local vendors. There’s also a beer garden, plus activities for families in the Kids’ Zone. As with all events hosted by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, live entertainment runs for most of the day as well.

Food Trucks and Vendors

The Chilliwack event usually features about 20 food vendors. On both the Saturday and Sunday, the market also features around a dozen or so vendors selling a variety of artisan products.

Local Market Vendors

There were 16 or so market vendors on-site at the event last year. It will likely be around the same in 2025. The vendors are local businesses that offer high quality products ranging from soaps and candles to baked goods and jewellery.

Live Entertainment

At the event a variety of musicians and DJs provide the entertainment each year. On the first day of the May 2024 event, performers included Concrete Jungle, Stan Giles Band, Tailgators and Nighthawks. Entertaining on the second day were Dog Daze, Lounge Hounds, Retrobot and Calvin Rempel Band. The lineup in 2025 will be comparable.
