The Food Truck Festival at UBC is a Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event. It takes place at the University of British Columbia in the spring.
In 2026 the event is called Food Fest & Market and it happens on the first Wednesday and Thursday of April. Admission is free.
Other related food truck events that happen later in the spring include Cloverdale Food Truck Wars (on April 10th to 12th in 2026) and Chilliwack Party in the Park (in April). There is also Chilliwack Ribfest in July and White Rock Night Markets on select Fridays between May and September.

UBC Food Fest & Market in 2026
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival is a set of events that take place across the Lower Mainland each year. This year’s series kicks off with an event at UBC’s Vancouver campus. It takes place in the first week of April and is free to attend.
The Food Truck Festival has been happening at UBC since 2023. The event typically includes more than 20 food trucks offering lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts. There’s also a market with vendors selling a variety of artisan products. Browsing the market is a great way to discover and support local businesses. The event runs for two days and includes live music and covered seating areas.
Dates and Location
The fourth annual Food Truck Festival at UBC takes place on the Wednesday and Thursday of April 1st and 2nd in 2026. It runs from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm on both days.
The event is held outside UBC Commons, just in front of the AMS Student Nest Building. The venue is north of the intersection of East Mall and University Boulevard.
