Haunt-Inn is a free Halloween event for all ages outside the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites North Vancouver (which is soon to be rebranded as DoubleTree by Hilton).
New for 2025, the Haunt-Inn is a new, family-friendly, walk-through-style Halloween attraction. Built by volunteers and local businesses, it takes place on the grounds of one of the largest and nicest hotels on Vancouver’s North Shore. Select parts of the walk-through are open from October 20th until the 26th. The main event and full experience, however, runs from October 27th to November 2nd. It’s impressive, especially for something with admission by donation.
See the northshoreedge.ca website for the attraction’s official website. To learn about the venue that’s donating the space for the event, see the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites website.
Haunt-Inn Halloween Event at North Vancouver’s Holiday Inn & Suites
Haunt-Inn is held at 720 Old Lillooet Road in North Vancouver. It’s on the grounds of the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites North Vancouver. Starting in the spring of 2026, however, the building will be known as DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel is currently still open for guests. They are doing renovations currently, but only on a couple of floors at a time. When it opens officially under the new brand, it will be extra nice and beautiful! It’s already a really nice hotel. It will just soon be that much fancier.
Admission to Haunt-Inn is free. Donations, however, are appreciated and help support North Shore Edge and Spirit of Children. Money raised will help North Shore Edge host Haunt-Inn again next year.
Dates and Hours for Haunt-Inn
In 2025 the pre-show edition of Haunt Inn runs from October 19th to 26th. Then, the full Haunt-Inn experience happens from October 27th to November 2nd.
Daily hours are from 3:30 to 10:30 pm. The experience is available rain or shine.

What to Expect at the Halloween Attraction
The pre-show edition of Haunt-Inn is a sneak peak of the main event. It features only a select few zones of the attraction, but it’s an opportunity for folks to check it out without the hassle of big crowds. The early edition of the attraction runs until October 26th.
The main week of Haunt-Inn features several themed areas, complete with animatronics, live elements, large displays and spooky lighting. There is a Creepy Corridor, Spider Alley, Mystical Maze and Pumpkins Path.
There is quite a bit to see at the Haunt-Inn. Everything is outside. There is spooky music, spiders and skeletons, plus a number of impressive animatronic characters including witches, the wicked queen from Snow White, and monsters. Compared to most other Halloween attractions in the Lower Mainland, this one is quite kid-friendly. Yes there are scary monsters, but nothing gory. It’s all very well done.
About the Hotel
The hotel where Haunt-Inn takes place is really nice (but will be even nicer very soon). It has an indoor pool and sauna, a fitness centre, and a couple of restaurants There is Medley’s Grill and Seymour’s Pub, both of which are open daily, including during the Haunt-Inn event. Next year, when the hotel becomes DoubleTree by Hilton by Hilton, there will also be a BjornBar Bakery (which is an exceptional bakery with other already existing locations in Edgemont Village and Coquitlam).
Visit the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites website for full details about the hotel.
