Grouse Mountain celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion, it’s hosting a number of events including the Grouse Centennial Festival.
Grouse Centennial Festival in Vancouver
In 2026 the Grouse Centennial Festival takes place during the week of August 10th to 16th. Other events that usually happen in the Lower Mainland around that time include Ribfest Langley and Symphony in the Park in the Fraser Valley and the PoCo Car Show in Port Coquitlam. On the North Shore there is also the Shipyards Night Market on Fridays.
During the Grouse Centennial Festival there will be live music, market vendors, retro pricing, family-friendly activities and birthday cake. Grouse Mountain’s regular Summer Activities will also be happening, including the Lumberjack and Birds of Prey Shows, Ziplining, ropes course adventures and trips up one of the chairlifts. The new Grouse Mountain Coaster will also likely be in operation.
As of late 2025, full details about the Grouse Centennial Festival are still to be confirmed.
