Canada Day festivities in Maple Ridge happen at Memorial Peace Park on July 1st. There’s live entertainment, market vendors, a beer garden and more.
Canada Day Celebrations in Maple Ridge
The Canada Day event in Maple Ridge usually runs from 12:00 pm until around 6:00 pm. Festivities happen at Memorial Peace Park, located at 22407 Dewdney Trunk Road. Activities at the event include concerts, pony rides, an artisan market, basketball tournament, family yoga, an inflatable obstacle course and various other family-friendly things to do.
Canada Day Entertainment Schedule
There were three stages to choose from for entertainment at the July 1st event last year. Below was the entertainment schedule for the 2023 Canada Day celebrations. The 2024 lineup will likely be comparable. (Note: Exact details were subject to change.)
- 12:00 pm – Los Dorados on the Bandstand
- 12:00 pm – Wild Moccasin Dancers on the Main Stage
- 1:30 pm – Sade Awele performed on the Main Stage
- 1:30 pm – The Jason Lane Band performed on the 224 Stage
- 2:15 pm – Okwomma Cultural Troupe & 5th Door Danz Academy on the Bandstand
- 2:20 pm – Yeeri the Magician on the 224 Stage
- 2:45 pm – Tiller’s Folly performed on the Main Stage
- 2:55 pm – DJ Big Rich took the 224 Stage
- 3:30 pm – Bhangra Dancing on the Bandstand
- 3:45 pm – Gabriel Regehr on the 224 Stage
- 4:00 pm – Orchard Sky performed on the Main Stage
- 4:20 pm – Gift Shop (Tragically Hip Tribute Band) on the 224 Stage
- 4:45 pm – Chibi Taiko on the Bandstand
- 5:10 pm – Maple Sugar Jiggers 2.0 performed on the 224 Stage
- 5:15 pm – Nette hit the Main Stage
Canada Day Activities
In addition to the above live entertainment, activities that ran between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm last year included a vintage car show, face painting, climbing wall and bungee run. There were also family yoga and Zumba sessions, as well as pony rides and other activities.
The 2023 Canada Day event in Maple Ridge also featured a beer garden between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Food trucks were on-site from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm as well, offering mini donuts, ice cream, hot dogs, Fijian food, and more.

Below are some tips and advice to help you make the most of your Maple Ridge Canada Day experience.
TIP #1: If driving, arrive early as parking on the day is challenging. Limited underground parking is available if you use the Edge Street and Dewdney Trunk entrances. There is also a fair bit of street parking in the area, although you may need to walk a ways.
TIP #2: Carpool or take public transit if you can.
