The Five Corners Buskers and Comedy Festival is a community event in White Rock featuring family-friendly street performers and nighttime adult comedy acts.
In 2024 the festival took place on June 14th and 15th. Other events that happen around this time of year include ScotFestBC & BC Highland Games in Coquitlam, Capilano Mall Foodie Fest in North Vancouver, and the Stalew 10th Anniversary Event in Fort Langley (where admission to the second two events is free). Also in the Lower Mainland that same week were Queen Tribute Concerts in Chilliwack, Coquitlam and Richmond (on June 12th, 13th and 15th).

Five Corners Buskers & Comedy Festival
Hosted by the City of White Rock and White Rock BIA, the Five Corners Buskers and Comedy Festival features street performers during the daytime and comedy acts at night.
In the 2024 the festival took place on Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th. The months seem to vary as to when the event happens. In 2023, for example, the festival took place in May. The year before that, howevr, the festival ran in September. Exact dates for the event in 2025 are to be confirmed.
Festival Location
The festival usually takes place at various locations in the 5 Corners and Uptown area of White Rock. Participating venues and their locations in 2024 included the following:

- Outside Laura’s Coffee Corner – 15259 Pacific Avenue

Hours and Admission
Family-friendly buskers performed at multiple places from 11:00 am until about 3:30 pm on June 15th, 2024. It was all free to watch, but donations were appreciated!
There were also evening comedy shows this year. The first two took place back-to-back on June 14th at Islands Cafe at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. There was then another pair of shows at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm at Blue Frog Studios on June 15th.
All of the comedy shows required a purchased ticket this past year. Prices ranged from about $20 to $40 per person depending on the show. Pricing will likely be comparable when the festival returns in 2025.
