Canada-US Peace Arch Border Crossing

Situated between Surrey BC and Blaine Washington, the Peace Arch border crossing is the main Canada-US border crossing in British Columbia.

Located about 8 km from White Rock, this border crossing is the busiest one west of Windsor Ontario.

The Peace Arch at the Canada-US Border

Located just minutes from White Rock, the Peace Arch border crossing is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Nexus Lanes are open daily from 7 am until midnight. (Nexus Lanes are express lanes for special pre-registered and pre-approved Nexus pass holders.)

There are other border crossings between Washington State and the Lower Mainland too. The Pacific Highway crossing isn’t far from the Peace Arch crossing. The Aldergrove/Lynden crossing is near Langley, south of the Greater Vancouver Zoo. There is also the Sumas crossing near Abbotsford.

The Peach Arch, Pacific Highway and Sumas crossings are all open 24 hours a day every day, with Nexus lanes open from 7 am until midnight for the first two. Nexus Lanes operate at the Lynden crossing from just 8 am until midnight.

Built in 1921, the Peach Arch itself is located right on the Canada-US border, between BC’s Highway 99 and Washington State’s Interstate 5 in Peace Arch Park.
