Vancouver’s Red Truck Brewery and Truck Stop Diner

Red Truck Brewery in Vancouver

Red Truck Beer Company is a Vancouver business that operates a brewery and diner. It hosts various events including the Red Truck Concert Series in the summer.

Red Truck is the fourth largest craft brewery in British Columbia, and, in our opinion, it definitely has some of the best beer! The diner at the brewery also serves really good food.

In addition to beer and food, Red Truck hosts one of Vancouver’s best live music events. In the past the Red Truck Concert Series has taken place once a month in June, July and August. Last year, however, instead of a series of three days of concerts, there was just one big one and it happened on July 19th. Organizers are to confirm the exact date and details for the 2026 event.

Go to truckstopconcertseries.com for the latest information about the summer concert. Continue reading or visit redtruckbeer.com for details about the brewery, its beer and its diner.

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS!

In July 2025 the Red Truck Beer Company celebrated its 20th anniversary as one of British Columbia’s original craft breweries. To mark the occasion, organizers hosted a special tasting event on Saturday, July 12th, at the BC Liquor Store at 39th Avenue and Cambie Street. The event ran from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. At the liquor store, Red Truck gave out samples of its Original IPA and Classic Lager and served complimentary hot dogs with every 15-pack purchased. There were also lawn games and prizes.

Vancouver’s Red Truck Beer Company

Red Truck Beer Company is a great craft brewery that’s been making beer in Metro Vancouver since 2005. Originally founded on the North Shore, the company’s brewery and its Truck Stop Diner are located at 295 East 1st Avenue in Vancouver, not far from Main Street.

You can get Red Truck beer at liquor stores around the Lower Mainland, or from the brewery itself. The company sells various kinds of craft brews including IPAs, other ales, lagers and pilsners. All of the beer is made by the batch.

The Truck Stop is open daily beginning at 11:00 am. It’s open until 10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and until 9:00 pm the rest of the week. Happy Hour is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on weekdays.

The establishment features about 12 different beers on tap at any given time in a rotating lineup. A pint costs $8 (as of the last time we checked in early 2026) and a flight of four six-ounce drinks is $9.50. All pints are $6 during Happy Hour. Check out the What’s Pouring page on the Red Truck website to see what’s currently on tap.

The food menu includes classic bar fare like burgers, wings and hot dogs, but also all-day breakfast items, salads and quesadillas. Prices range from about $10 (for a plain hot dog) up to $25.50 (for a grilled chuck patty and smoked brisket burger).

Red Truck Concert Series and other Events

Red Truck is known for its live music, headlined by the summer-time Red Truck Concert Series. The concerts happen outside of the brewery and typically feature multiple stages, so there’s no down-time between one band finishing its set and the next one starting.

Last year’s concert series featured a single show on July 19th. It was headlined by Lanco, which is a well-known country band. Also performing at the event were Zachariah & The Lobos Riders, Dawson Gray and Spank Williams. See our article about the Red Truck Concert Series or go to the official Red Truck Concert Series website to learn more about this event.

There’s music inside the brewery year-round as well, with live performances from local artists every Friday and Saturday. The Friday shows begin at 5:00 pm while the ones on Saturday start at 7:00 pm. The full schedule is available on the Red Truck Events Calendar.
