Ridge Meadows Home Show in 2026

Ridge Meadows Home Show

The Ridge Meadows Home Show in Maple Ridge is one of Metro Vancouver’s biggest spring trade shows with home experts, food trucks and family-friendly activities.

What’s makes this event particularly unique and worth going to is the fact that, in addition to being a massive home renovation consumer trade show, it’s also a community fair, complete with live entertainment and amusement rides! It’s with good reason that it’s called “The Everything Show”!

Not only is the event a home show, where you can meet vendors from a wide selection of home and garden-related product and service providers, but you can also spend the day there with your kids! It’s actually arguably more like the PNE Fair than a typical home show. It’s just for fewer days, with more trade show-related vendors, less entertainment and fewer rides. Overall, it’s an impressive event!

LOWER MAINLAND HOME SHOWS

Other unrelated spring home shows to check out include the Tri-City Spring Home in Coquitlam in March and the Langley Spring Home Show in May. Both are also great events with dozens of vendor participants. They are run by Evergreen Exhibitions which is a Vancouver Island-based company which has other home shows all over the island too. With the Tri-City and Langley events, what’s especially nice is that for them admission is free. Even the parking is free.

In 2026 the Langley Spring Home Show takes place at the George Preston Recreation Centre Arena on May 29th to May 31st. If you don’t find what you’re looking for at the Ridge Meadows Home Show, or you forget to get something, then be sure to also attend the event in Langley a few weeks later.

Ridge Meadows Home Show in Maple Ridge

The Ridge Meadows Home Show is one of the largest and longest-running home and lifestyle events in British Columbia. It takes place annually at the Albion Fairgrounds in Maple Ridge. The event combines a traditional home improvement trade show with a family festival, food truck gathering, marketplace, and wellness expo with live entertainment. There is even a fashion show and beer garden!

At the event, visitors can explore hundreds of booths featuring renovation ideas, landscaping services, home décor, wellness products, local businesses and outdoor living inspiration. At the same time families can enjoy carnival rides, kids’ activities and live stage performances. More than 300 exhibitors and other organizations participate throughout the three-day event in a typical year.

Where & When is the Home Show

The Ridge Meadows Home Show takes place at the Albion Fairgrounds and Planet Ice complex. The venues’ address is 23588–105th Avenue. It’s a short drive southeast of downtown Maple Ridge. The fairgrounds are situated near the corner of Jim Robson Way and Lougheed Highway.

Go to WildPlay either before or after your time at the Ridge Meadows Home Show, or make plans to go another day. When you do go though, be sure to use the promo code VBP15. Admission to the Home Show & Rides

In 2026 the home show costs $5 for single tickets or $8 for families. That’s quite reasonable as admission provides access to everything. You have to pay for food and the amusement rides, of course, plus whatever products and services you end up buying (including psychic services).

With the amusement rides, an all-day wristband costs $40. If you buy it online in advance, however, before the first day of the event, you’ll save $10. Single tickets cost $1.50  each (including taxes). You can also buy them in packs of 20 for $30 or packs of 40 for $50. Kiddie rides cost 3 or 4 tickets each to go on, depending on the ride. Most other rides cost either 4 or 5 tickets. The Zipper, however, costs 6 tickets.

Home Improvement & Marketplace Exhibits

The Ridge Meadows Home Show features over a couple of hundred exhibitors focused on home renovation, landscaping, décor, wellness and lifestyle products. Different buildings and areas within Planet Ice showcase different themes and categories.

Building A focuses primarily on home improvement and outdoor living. Exhibitors in this area include roofing companies, decking specialists, landscaping experts, siding installers, solarium businesses and other renovation professionals. Visitors planning backyard upgrades or major home projects can find inspiration and connect with local contractors and suppliers.

Building B at Planet Ice includes the marketplace, wellness section and Body, Mind & Spirit Psychic Fair. In this zone guests can shop for jewelry, cosmetics, linens, housewares and specialty gifts while also discovering beauty, health and fitness businesses. The Psychic Fair includes exhibitors focused on metaphysical services, meditation, mediumship and spiritual wellness. Admission to the psychic fair is included with Home Show entry, although separate fees apply for readings and other psychic services.

Building C highlights home décor and interior design inspiration. Visitors can browse furniture, floors, appliances, home electronics, kitchens, paint products & services, art, and both woodwork and decorative products. This is also where you’ll find design professionals and renovation specialists of all kinds.

In addition to the above, the Curling Rink Lobby hosts the show’s popular sampling area where visitors can try a variety of food products and specialty items while exploring the exhibits.

Greater Vancouver Food Trucks

FOOD TRUCKS IN THE LOWER MAINLAND

The Ridge Meadows Home Show has a great selection of food trucks, thanks to the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival (GVFTF). That organization hosts a lot of its own events, which are all awesome, but it also works with other events with their food truck needs. The GVFTF folk also coordinate artisan markets vendors through BC Shop Local.

Other events hosted or attended by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival include Food Truck Fest at UBC, Food Truck Wars in Cloverdale, and Party in the Park in Chilliwack earlier in the spring. Later in the year there is also Chilliwack Ribfest, White Rock Night Markets, Langley Community Day and several others. If you like food truck foods, you’ll want to attend the Ridge Meadows Home Show in addition to some of these other events.

Food Trucks, Family Fest & Outdoor Attractions

Outside the buildings, at the Ridge Meadows Home Show guests can enjoy a Food Truck Festival featuring a lineup of street food vendors serving a wide range of cuisines. Food vendors in 2026 include ones selling donairs, fish & chips, Japanese-inspired tacos, mac & cheese, poutine, lemonade, gourmet coffee, mini donuts and ice cream.

The outdoor midway area also includes Shooting Star Amusements with a number of its carnival rides and games. Ride tickets and midway games cost extra.

One of the event’s biggest highlights is Family Fest which is a free family entertainment area. The attraction has been part of the show for more than two dozen years and includes activities and performances for children and their parents and friends throughout the weekend.

Popular attractions in the Family Fest zone include a Monster Foam Party where kids can find giant mountains of foam bubbles to play in, mini golf, face painting, craft stations and a sandbox play zone. The Paw Patch also returns in 2026 with dog-friendly outdoor activities, products and services. Dogs are also welcome in the outdoor venue areas.

Scouts Canada Rally Day also takes place during the event in 2026 with Kub Kar and Scout Truck races showcasing handmade vehicles built and designed by local youth participants.
