The Clayton Community Farmers Market is a large bi-weekly artisan market outside Surrey‘s Clayton Community Centre on Sundays between May or June and October.
Clayton Community Farmers Market
The Clayton Farmers Market celebrates its ninth year in 2026. It’s a good-sized market featuring between 65 and 70 vendors on busy days in good years.
Although labeled a farmers market, it’s very much an artisan market. When we went there weren’t many vendors selling fresh produce. There were, however, lots of stalls selling everything from fresh-baked bread and pastries to garden plants, preserves and pet supplies. You can also find handicrafts made of wood, fabric and other products. There is even a small number of food trucks as well.
In addition to artisan vendors, there is live music at the event. You’ll usually find one or two musicians playing off to the side. Some weekends there are also special events. They usually take place about twice a month.

The market takes place in the parking lot at Clayton Community Centre. The venue’s address is 7155 187A Street in Surrey. It’s near the corner of 188th Street and 72nd Avenue, just a few blocks north of the Fraser Highway. It’s about 4 km northwest of the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.

Clayton Market Video
Check out the following video for an idea of what the market looks like. The video was filmed in May, 2021, so during the height of the pandemic of that year. During normal times there are more vendors, more shoppers and fewer people wearing masks.
As you’ll see in the video, it’s a pretty big market. There are stalls selling all kinds of homemade, home-baked and garden-grown products.
