Sheraton Guildford Hotel

The Sheraton Guildford is one of the most prominent and well-known hotels in Surrey. Conferences in the city often use its facilities.

A number of events happen at the hotel each year. On February 4th, 2024, for example, there is the All Dressed in White Bridal Show.

Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey

The hotel has 279 rooms and is known for its rooftop pool and hot tub. The Sheraton is a family-friendly hotel with children able to stay free with a paying adult.

The hotel is a part of the Marriott hotel chain so it participates in the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program. For folk using points, the Sheraton Guildford is a Category 3 facility.

Where is the Sheraton Hotel?

Located at 15269 104th Avenue in Surrey, the Sheraton Guildford Hotel is a prominent feature of the Surrey skyline with its 20 storeys. Across the street at a car dealership there is a large tower with a massive Canadian flag. If you’re in the area, it’s hard to miss.

One block from the hotel is Guildford Town Centre which is Surrey’s largest shopping mall.

Hotel Dining at the Sheraton

The Sheraton Guildford is home to one on-site restaurant called the MiXT Restaurant and Lounge. In regular, non-pandemic times, the restaurant is open for all-day dining from breakfast until dinner. Due to COVID-19 the hotel has been offering “grab & go” meals in place of its regular breakfast buffet.

Hotel Amenities

One of the most popular amenities at the Sheraton Guildford is the hotel’s rooftop heated outdoor pool and whirlpool. There are chairs and comfortable couches scattered around the pool. Some of the seating areas also have fire pits.

The hotel’s fitness centre is adjacent to the pool area. In the fitness area guests can find a selection of cardiovascular equipment, free weights and space to exercise. Due to COVID-19, as of early 2021, fitness classes were not being offered at the hotel until further notice.

The Sheraton Guildford is also home to a full-service spa.

Sueño Spa

The Sueño Spa is the Sheraton Guildford’s day spa. The place offers a variety of beauty and wellness treatments such as massages, facials and manicures.

The spa is usually open Monday to Friday from 10 am until 8 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. The spa is normally closed on Sundays.

As of the last time we checked, guest must make appointments at the Sueño Spa in advance due to COVID-19 policies. At other times people used to be able to just walk in.

Meetings and Events at the Sheraton

The Sheraton is a popular place for business meetings and other large events. In total, the hotel has 14 event rooms with over 27,000 square feet of space. The largest room is over 5,000 square feet and able to hold up to 600 guests.
