The Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival is Vancouver’s celebration of Taiwanese and Canadian artists. It features performances, exhibitions and more in July.
In 2026 the festival is part of the Taiwanese Heritage Month (THM) series of events. The main cultural festival still takes place from July 4th to 5th, but there are other events taking place throughout the rest of July that fall under the same umbrella.
Also, in addition to activities in the City of Vancouver, this year’s festival features things to do in Burnaby.

Taiwanese Heritage Month in Metro Vancouver
Taiwanese Heritage Month (THM) celebrates its second year in 2026. It’s meant to build on the success of the Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival which began in 2018.
THM consists of a series of events that take place at different locations across Metro Vancouver in July. The events as a whole are all organized by the Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Society.
Each year there’s a variety of art to explore. There are often sculptures on display to view and musical performances by local artists to enjoy. Other things to enjoy include traditional dance performances, movie screenings and authentic Taiwanese cuisine.
Event dates in 2026 are July 4th to 5th, 11th, 18th to 19th, and 25th to 26th.
Visit tccfestival.ca for the festival’s official website.

THM Program

There are cultural performances, workshops, art exhibitions, artisan markets, and Taiwanese food and movies to enjoy.
