The Food Truck Festival at UBC is a Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event. It takes place at the University of British Columbia in the spring.
In 2025 the event happened on the first Thursday and Friday of April. Admission was free. The event will likely happen around the same time next year, though exact details are to be confirmed.
Other related food truck events that happened later in the spring of 2025 included Cloverdale Food Truck Wars (on April 11th to 13th) and Chilliwack Party in the Park (on April 26th and 27th). There is also Chilliwack Ribfest in July and White Rock Night Markets on select Fridays between May and September.

Food Truck Festival at UBC
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival is a set of events that take place across the Lower Mainland each year. This year’s series kicked off with an event at UBC’s Vancouver campus. It took place in the first week of April and was free to attend.
The Food Truck Festival at UBC debuted in 2023. The event typically includes more than 20 food trucks offering lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts. There’s also a market with vendors selling a variety of artisan products. Browsing the market is a great way to discover and support local businesses. The 2025 event ran for two days and included live music and covered seating areas.
Dates and Location
The third annual Food Truck Festival at UBC took place on the Thursday and Friday of April 3rd and 4th, 2025. It ran from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm on both days.
The event is held outside UBC Commons, just in front of the AMS Student Nest Building. The venue is north of the intersection of East Mall and University Boulevard.
