Home Shows in the Lower Mainland

There are several home-improvement trade shows that happen in the Lower Mainland each year. The events feature many different vendors selling their products and services all under one roof. If you’re planning on renovating or redecorating your home, consider attending one or more of the annual trade shows listed in this article. Some are free to attend. Others cost as much as $16 to attend.

Events include the BC Home & Garden Show and Vancouver Fall Home Show, both of which are produced by Marketplace Events which is an American company based in Ohio. The same corporation also produces the BC Sportsmen’s Show as well as dozens of other trade shows all across North America. You have to pay to attend these shows, but similar and smaller events have free admission.

Other events you might like to attend are those hosted by Evergreen Exhibitions which is based in Parksville on Vancouver Island. These events include the North Vancouver Home Show, Tri-City Spring Home Show and Langley Spring Home Show. Evergreen Exhibitions also hosts over a dozen other events between Victoria and Campbell River on Vancouver Island. With these shows, dozens of vendors participate, and admission is free. Parking is free too.

A few other home improvement-style trade shows also take place in the Fraser Valley. Exposure Events run them. With them are the Chilliwack Home, Leisure & Outdoor Living Expo and the Fraser Valley Home & Backyard Living Expo.

See below for details about all of these events. We’ll start with the smaller, BC-based events and finish with the larger, internationally-managed ones.
