Formerly called the BC Sportsmen’s Show, the BC Sport & Wilderness Show is a consumer trade show at the TRADEX Centre in Abbotsford in March.

The event is for fishing, hunting, and outdoor enthusiasts. Unfortunately, it’s not happening in 2027. Hopefully it returns next year.

The BC Sport & Wilderness show is produced by the Ohio-based company Marketplace Events (MPE). Other Lower Mainland events hosted by the same large US-based corporation are the BC Home & Garden Show (also in March), and the Vancouver Fall Home Show in autumn.

The BC Sport & Wilderness Show

Taking place in early March, the show marks the start of spring and summer for those who love the outdoors.

The BC Sport & Wilderness Show brings together outdoor passions of many kinds. In 2026 the event featured hundreds of exhibitors, making it one of the biggest outdoor recreation shows in BC. Sadly, it’s cancelled for 2027.

Should the event return in the future, there will be fishing boats and gear, equipment for hunting, camping and hiking, various land vehicles, and more. There are even paintball guns on sale for those who want to take them to one of the Lower Mainland’s Paintball Facilities.

Where and When is the BC Sport & Wilderness Show?

The 2026 BC Sport & Wilderness Show ran from Friday, March 6th, to Sunday, March 8th. It took place at the TRADEX Centre in Abbotsford. The venue’s address is 1190 Cornell Street which is right next to the Abbotsford International Airport.

Show hours for 2026 were 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. Parking was available on site for about $10.35 per day, although re-entry wasn’t permitted if you left the lot.

The venue is surrounded by plenty of hotels and dining options, and Abbotsford’s airport-side accommodations make it convenient for out-of-town visitors. StayVancouverHotels.com offers affordable hotel rates for those who want to stay in downtown Vancouver and then commute to the show.

Event Admission and Parking Details

Tickets for the BC Sport & Wilderness Show are valid for one full day of admission, and you don’t have to choose your date when purchasing. Once you have your ticket, you can attend on whichever of the three show days works best for you. Same-day re-entry is permitted as long as you get your hand stamped before leaving the building.

For 2026, online ticket prices started at $13.00 for adults, with box office rates slightly higher. Seniors and juniors paid $12.00, and family passes were available for $38.00. A four-pack was also offered at $45.00, making it a good option for groups planning to attend together. Children under 12 were free.

Parking at TRADEX cost $10.35 per day, and re-entry wasn’t allowed. If you left the lot and return later, you’ll need to pay for parking again. Details for 2027 (should the event return) should be similar.

What to Expect

The BC Sport & Wilderness Show fills the TRADEX Centre with a mix of exhibitors representing every part of BC’s outdoor community. The show stretches beyond its traditional fishing and hunting roots. Visitors can see a huge selection of gear for boating, camping, hiking, paddling, climbing, powersports and backcountry adventure, along with destinations, guides and lodge operators from across BC.

In addition to the wide range of items on sale, the event is also a chance to chat with experts and other outdoor enthusiasts to learn how to enhance your own experiences. There’s a small concessions area with food and drink for sale.
