Vancouver’s Luxury & Supercar Weekend is a multi-million-dollar event showcasing luxury automobiles and sports cars at the Olympic Oval in Richmond.
The event originally took place at VanDusen Botanical Garden in September. In later years, it moved to the plaza outside the Richmond Olympic Oval and was held in July. However, the event has not taken place in recent years. Whether Vancouver’s Luxury & Supercar Weekend will return is to be determined.
Luxury & Supercar Weekend at Richmond’s Olympic Oval
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Vancouver’s Luxury & Supercar Weekend ran as a two-day event, usually on a Saturday and Sunday in early September (the weekend after Labour Day). When it briefly resumed, it shifted to a July schedule and a new location in Richmond.
The event featured exotic and collectible vehicles alongside luxury food, drinks, and lifestyle brands. It attracted car enthusiasts as well as high-end shoppers interested in premium products.
Vehicles displayed over the years included brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Porsche, Range Rover, and Rolls-Royce. In some years, rarer marques such as Koenigsegg and Pagani also appeared.
When and Where
The most recent edition of Vancouver’s Luxury & Supercar Weekend took place in July 2023 at the Olympic Riverside Plaza outside the Richmond Olympic Oval, located at 6111 River Road.
Before that, the event was held at VanDusen Garden. Since 2023, however, the event has not returned, and no future dates or locations have been announced.
Event Admission
At the 2023 event, general admission prices were approximately $57 for adults and $29 for children ages 13 and under. VIP tickets were also available and included access to complimentary food and beverages.
As the event has not been announced again, the current admission pricing is to be determined if the event resumes.
What the Event Was Like
When it ran, Vancouver’s Luxury & Supercar Weekend offered visitors the chance to see some of the world’s most expensive and modern vehicles in one place. Displays included both new supercars and rare collectible models.
Past editions also featured brand activations, music, and special showcases. Highlights in 2023 included curated supercar collections and interactive experiences. The event combined car culture with luxury lifestyle elements, drawing both enthusiasts and casual spectators.
