Europa Super Circus and its Metro Vancouver & Fraser Valley Circus Shows

Super Circus

Brought to Canada by Florida-based Sarasota Box Office, Europa Super Circus has shows in a big top in a mall parking lot in Metro Vancouver in the spring.

Last year the American circus made its Canadian debut with stops in Surrey, Abbotsford and Chilliwack. In 2026, the circus returns to Richmond from March 5th to 15th.

Other circus companies that visit the Vancouver region most years include the Royal Canadian International Circus in late spring, Circo Osorio in the fall, and Cirque du Soleil towards the end of the year. All three of these other circuses are excellent in different was and will likely return in 2026. For details about them, visit the royalcanadiancircus.ca, americancrowncircus.com and cirquedusoleil.com websites. Super Circus Shows in the Lower Mainland

In 2026, the Super Circus has 17 performances in Richmond from March 5th to 15th. The event is taking place in the parking lot at Landsdowne Centre, under the big-top tent. Many days have two or three performance times, especially on weekends.

Last year the circus stopped at different locations across the Lower Mainland in May. The Big Top was in the parking lot at Elements Casino in Surrey first. It had eight performances at that location before moving to the Abbotsford Power Centre for eight shows (which included the Mother’s Day weekend). After that, it had another eight shows over four days, outside the Chilliwack Coliseum.

About the Super Circus Shows

The Europa Super Circus is run by mostly European performers. Some of them are from Portugal. There’s some North American talent on hand, too. Last year there was also a French tightrope walker and a Spanish acrobat who performed on the famed “Wheel of Death.”

At the circus last year there were freestyle motocross riders, aerialists, a clown, a sword swallower, and other types of performers. 2026 will likely be comparable. The shows are about 90 minutes long, so there is plenty of action to enjoy. Everything is held under a Big Top tent, so the show goes on regardless of the weather. The calibre of the acts is fairly good. It’s not Cirque du Soleil, but still fun, affordable entertainment for families.

The 2026 shows in Richmond take place between March 5th and 15th. Each production lasts for about 90 minutes, including a short intermission.

The shows run from Thursday to Monday over two weekends. The show times for the 2026 visit are as follows:

  • Thursday: 7:00 pm
  • Friday: 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm
  • Saturday: 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm
  • Sunday: 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm
  • Monday: 7:00 pm

Europa Super Circus Ticket Prices in 2026

Tickets for Europa Super Circus shows start at $35 for adults and $25 for children (ages 3 to 12). There are four general admission areas around the outer ring of the Big Top, and ticket-holders can sit in any of them.

There are three other tiers of tickets, each of them closer to the main stage, and all with assigned seating. Preferred tickets cost $40 for both adults and children, VIP tickets are $50, and Ringside tickets are $60. Ringside seats are in special box areas that sit right next to the action. In addition to these general prices, fees are added at checkout.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate, as long as the show isn’t sold out (which may or may not happen).  All sales are non-refundable.

The Big Top isn’t huge. It’s big, but not that big (and smaller than that of most other circuses that come to town). As a result, the view from all seats is pretty good.
