Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Festival is a series of events showcasing local beers and North Vancouver breweries and distilleries in November.

Presented by Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association, the festival returns in 2025, from November 7th to 20th. Running for two weeks, events take place at different breweries, cideries, and distilleries each night, highlighting the region’s rich brewing culture.
The festival kicks off with the Launch Party at The Pipe Shop on Friday, November 7th. That event features live music, food trucks, and a curated selection of North Shore craft beverages. For tickets, click VNSCBF Launch Party 2025.

North Vancouver’s Craft Beer Festival in 2025
The Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Festival celebrates the community’s craft beverage scene. The festivities begin with a Launch Party at the Shipyards on November 7th. Selling out pretty much every year, the main event features live music, food trucks, and craft beverages from local breweries, cideries and distilleries.
Each day following the Launch Party showcases a different North Shore venue throughout North Vancouver. The events offer unique experiences such as beer-and-food pairings, trivia nights, live DJs, and special drink releases.
Visitors can also take advantage of the Sip & Stay Packages, combining the festival with an overnight getaway at a hotel to enjoy North Vancouver’s breweries and scenic views.

Beer Festival Schedule of Events
The 2025 Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Festival runs from November 7th to 20th. A new event happening each day at a different local venue. Below is the schedule of events for the 2025 series. (Note: Times and dates are subject to change.)
Friday, November 7th, 2025
- Launch Party at The Pipe Shop – Kicking off the beer festival with an evening of live music, food trucks, and a wide range of North Shore craft beverages. This popular launch event runs from 5:00 to 10:30 pm and it usually sells out every year. It’s a great event and highly recommended.
Saturday, November 8th, 2025
- Strathcona North – Brew Masters Dinner. A food-and-beer pairing event at Strathcona’s relatively new North Vancouver location inside the Quay Market & Food Hall (at 123 Carrie Cates Court). Enjoy creative dishes matched with the brewery’s signature beers.
Sunday, November 9th, 2025
- Braggot Brewing – Viking night. A lively evening of keg lifting, keg carrying, axe throwing, and stein holding at Braggot Brewing (at #102 370 Esplanade East). Expect Viking-themed games, music, and honey-based brews.

Monday, November 10th, 2025
- Bridge Brewing – Open House on Pemberton. Celebrate Bridge Brewing’s new brewery and lounge at 1123 West 15th Street in North Vancouver. Guests can explore the new space and enjoy fresh pints from one of the North Shore’s favourite breweries.
Tuesday, November 11th, 2025
- Shaketown Brewing – Liar’s Dice Tournament. Join the fun at Shaketown’s inaugural Liar’s Dice Tournament, featuring prizes, a visiting food truck, and a cask release. This event takes place at the brewery at #105 – 288 East Esplanade in the Lower Lonsdale District of North Vancouver.
Wednesday, November 12th, 2025
- Wildeye Brewing – History of Music Trivia at Wildeye Brewing. Guests can test their music knowledge at a themed trivia night covering decades of music hits. The event is hosted at Wildeye Brewing, located at 1385 Main Street, in North Vancouver.
Thursday, November 13th, 2025
- Black Kettle Brewing – Gameday Tailgate. There is a rib cookout, featuring Pilsner Urquell steins, game-day appetizers, and the big American League Football Jets vs. Patriots game. This event happens at Black Kettle Brewing at 720 Copping Street.

Friday, November 14th, 2025
- Windfall Cider & Co. – Cider Tastings. Guests can sample a variety of crafted ciders and seasonal blends at Windfall Cider’s tasting event. The event happens at the cidery at 250 East Esplanade, Unit 101.
Saturday, November 15th, 2025
- La Cerveceria Astilleros – Mexican Fiesta Dance Party. This is a high-energy beer festival event with DJs, dancing, and fresh beer releases. It happens at 226 East Esplanade.
Sunday, November 16th, 2025
- The Woods Spirit Co. – Beer “tails” Night. The event is a cocktail evening featuring beer spirit collaborations. This evening takes place at 1450 Rupert Street (which is near Mountain Highway and Main Street).
Monday, November 17th, 2025
- North Point Brewing – Monday Night Football Party. There are game-night festivities with beer specials while guests catch the game action. This event happens at 266 East 1st Street in North Vancouver.
Tuesday, November 18th, 2025
- Copperpenny Distilling Co. – “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.” Copperpenny Distilling is kicking off the holiday season in their lounge with previews of winter cocktails, custom-label gift bottles, and personalized Christmas spirit baskets. This event takes place at 288 East Esplanade in North Vancouver.
Wednesday, November 19th, 2025
- Beva Brewing & Blending – Kitchen Popup. This event is a one-night food popup that pairs dishes with Beva’s blends. As of the last time we checked, the exact 2025 details had yet to be announced, but it sounds like it’ll be fun (and tasty). Beva Brewing is located at 1405 Pemberton Avenue (not far from Capilano Mall).

Thursday, November 20th, 2025
- Beere Brewing – Stout Release Party. Celebrating the taproom debut of “Spressy Tini” Espresso Stout. There are special $5 16-oz pours available, and this is the last event of the festival. This brewery is located at 312 Esplanade East in North Vancouver.

Beer Festival Event Venues
Events during Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Festival take place at venues all across North Vancouver, including some of the following breweries, cideries, and distilleries:
Breweries in the Lower Lonsdale District
The following breweries, distilleries, and cideries are located relatively close together in the first three or so blocks of East Esplanade or East 1st Street and are regulars at this event. They are all within a 10-minute walk of Lonsdale Quay.
- Beere Brewing – a brewery and tasting room at 312 East Esplanade.
- Braggot Brewery – a brewery with a tasting room and patio at #102 – 370 Esplanade East. It specializes in honey-based beers (and the brewery uses its own honey). Our favourite is the Brown Ale. It is excellent!
- La Cerveceria Astilleros – another Shipyards establishment at 226 East Esplanade, this place is a Mexican-style brewery with food, wine and other drinks on offer.
- North Point Brewing – this cozy building is designed to feel like a cabin with its wood structure and laidback atmosphere. It’s located at 266 East 1st Street. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. It also has a fireplace inside.
- Shaketown Brewing – located at #105 – 288 East Esplanade, offers a large seating area.
- Windfall Cider – located at 250 East Esplanade, this place makes a variety of apple ciders, including some that are a blend with berries.
- Copperpenny Distillery – an award-winning craft distillery at 288 East Esplanade. They specialize in gins, but also produce a variety of liqueurs, syrups and other spirits.
- Strathcona North – is new to the North Shore as of 2024. Strathcona Beer has had a brewery at 895 East Hastings Street in Vancouver for years. It now has a second location in North Vancouver inside the Lonsdale Quay Public Market.
Breweries Elsewhere in North Vancouver
The following breweries are located within a 5-10 minute drive from Lonsdale Quay and the Shipyards District.
- Black Kettle Brewing – a popular place located at 720 Copping Street, which isn’t far from the Northshore Auto Mall. The brewery features a tented patio and a spacious indoor area. It hosts a live DJ on Thursdays. We’ve tried a number of the in-house beers, which were great. We also enjoyed a delicious pizza.
- Bridge Brewing Company – a brewery and tasting room at 1448 Charlotte Road (which is just off Mountain Highway halfway between the Trans-Canada Highway and Main Street). The brewery also has a smaller location at 1211 Lonsdale Avenue, and a new one just opening up at 1123 West 15th Street (not far from Pemberton Avenue and Capilano Mall).
- Wildeye Brewing – located near the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge at 1385 Main Street, this is a fairly big brewery with a large variety of seasonal options. The brewery offers great beers and live music on Thursdays. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio.
- The Woods Spirit Co. – this distillery’s address is 1450 Rupert Street. It’s near Mountain Highway, just a few blocks north of Main Street (not far from Wildeye Brewing and the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge). Its spirits include vodka, gin, limoncello, arancello, amaro and nocino. It also sells spritz and gin and tonic kits.
- Beva Brewing & Blending – this brewery is located at 1405 Pemberton Avenue (which is in the Norgate neighbourhood). It’s about a four-minute drive from Capilano Mall.
