To encourage travelers to take non-peak sailings, BC Ferries was offering 50% discounts on vehicle fares between November 16 and December 19, 2015.

The reduced fees were for select sailings on Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast and Gulf Island routes on Mondays to Thursdays as well as late Saturday sailings.

50% Off on Vehicles with BC Ferries Until December 19

The limited time special applied to standard vehicle fares on select sailings – regular passenger fares still apply.

Select discounted sailings between the Lower Mainland’s Tsawwassen ferry terminal and Swartz Bay near Victoria on Vancouver Island between November 16 and December 19 included most 11, 1 and 3 pm sailings Monday to Thursday, plus 3, 5, 7 and 9 pm sailings on Saturdays.

TIP: If planning to travel on a discount day on or just before December 19 – the last day of the sale – then make a reservation right away and arrive at the terminal in plenty of time. Those will be popular sailings, so expect it to be busy!
