There are Canada Day celebrations all over Metro Vancouver on July 1st, including at multiple venues in New Westminster.
Canada Day Festivities
Below are details about New Westminster’s Canada Day activities.
July 1st celebrations run from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Queen’s Park. The location is at 3rd Avenue in New Westminster.
There are all sorts of things to see and do at the event. There’s live music, activities for children, a beer garden, and multiple food trucks and vendors. This year’s event also features a drone show at 10:00 pm at Queen’s Park Stadium.

Canada Day at Queen’s Park
The place is a beautiful park with walking trails, a flower garden, large playground, kids’ water play area and a petting zoo.
In addition to the activities mentioned further above, the 2026 Canada Day event at Queen’s Park features a Kids Zone with various things to do. The area includes inflatable structures, miniature golf, and stations with crafts and face painting opportunities. In the park’s Sportsplex you’ll also find bubble soccer.
