About the Craft Market
The Chilliwack Christmas Craft Market is organized by the Chilliwack Community Arts Council. The organization uses admission revenues from the craft market to fund art scholarships, put on other community events and subsidize art classes for members of the community.
Artisans at the market apply to participate. Their products are scrutinized by a selection jury which ensures a high standard of quality at the event. All products at the Chilliwack Christmas Craft Market are handmade by the vendor. No finished products are allowed to be made by other people, from a craft kit or imported from abroad.
The market is a fabulous event because of its size, the quality of the products, and the fact that it features local artists and supports a great cause.
Visit the Chilliwack Arts Council‘s website for full details about the event.

TIP: Gas prices are almost always cheaper in the Fraser Valley because municipalities in that region are exempt from Metro Vancouver’s transit gas taxes. So be sure to fill up your tank in Abbotsford, Chilliwack or somewhere else in the region. The savings are often as much as 10 cents per litre.
