The Chilliwack Mural Festival

The Chilliwack Mural Festival is a fun showcase of street art that takes place in August. Expect to see murals made by a diverse group of artists from both the Lower Mainland and around the world.

The festival is an opportunity to watch murals being painted live and to check out already existing murals in the Chilliwack community. Guided tours can be booked for large groups, and a map with mural locations is available online. In addition to the murals there’s also a street party and plenty of live entertainment.

The 2026 festival runs from August 14th to 16th with the street party happening on the first two days. That’s a much shorter length of time for the festival compared to last year, when it ran for 10 days.
