Vancouver’s False Creek Farmers Market

False Creek Farmers Market

The False Creek Farmers Market is a new market at Creekside Park in False Creek. It’s open on Thursdays in the summer between June and October.

A new event since 2021, the False Creek Farmers Market runs weekly in the summer to help support local farmers. The nearby Main Street Farmers Market hasn’t happened since 2020, so this new location has been a welcome addition to the Vancouver market scene.

The False Creek Farmers Market is a smaller market. It hosts two dozen or more vendors each week. Shoppers can expect to see a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared foods and other vendors on site.

When and Where

The False Creek Farmers Market took place at Concord Community Park in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, however, the market takes place at Creekside Park. Its address is 1455 Quebec Street in the City of Vancouver. This location is just a few blocks from where the Main Street Farmers Market usually takes place.

In 2023, the market takes place every Thursday between June 1st and October 5th. Hours of operation are from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

While in the area, we recommend taking a leisurely walk or cycle along the False Creek Seawall. It’s one of the best places to explore in Metro Vancouver. Science World is a short walk away from the market too and always makes for a fun visit. Right in Concord Community Park itself, there is a beach volleyball court and ping pong tables for people to use.
