Vancouver’s False Creek Farmers Market

False Creek Farmers Market

The False Creek Farmers Market is a new market at Creekside Park in False Creek. It’s open on Thursdays in the summer between June and October.

Operating since 2021, the False Creek Farmers Market runs weekly in the summer to help support local farmers.

The False Creek Farmers Market is a smaller market. It hosts 25 or more vendors each week. Shoppers can expect to find a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared foods and other vendors on-site.

When and Where

The False Creek Farmers Market used to took place at Concord Community Park. Last year, however, the market moved to its new location at Creekside Park. The address is 1455 Quebec Street in the City of Vancouver. This location is just a few blocks from where the Main Street Farmers Market used to take place.

In 2024 the market ran every Thursday between June 6th and October 3rd. Hours of operation were from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The dates and times in 2025 will likely be similar. As of mid-April, however, exact details are to be confirmed.

While in the area, we recommend taking a leisurely walk or cycle along the False Creek Seawall. It’s one of the best places to explore in Metro Vancouver. Science World is a short walk away from the market too and always makes for a fun visit. Right in Concord Community Park itself, there is a beach volleyball court and ping pong tables for people to use.

Note: During the winter season, the Vancouver Farmers Market sets up at Riley Park at 50 East 30th Avenue and Ontario Street (near Nat Bailey Stadium). The market at Riley Park runs on Sundays between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm from November to March. There also used to be the Hastings Park Farmers Market during the winter season at the PNE Fairgrounds. This second winter market isn’t happening in the 2024/25 season, however. Hopefully it will again in a future year. Whether it does or not is to be confirmed.
