Food Truck Wars is a Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event with market vendors, a beer garden and entertainment at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey.
In 2026 the event happens on the weekend of April 10th to 12th.
Other related food truck events taking place in the spring of 2026 include Food Truck Fest at UBC and Chilliwack Party in the Park, both in April. There is also the Chilliwack Ribfest in July and White Rock Night Markets once a month on a Friday between May and September.

Cloverdale Food Truck Wars in Surrey
The first annual Food Truck Wars event in the Lower Mainland took place in Cloverdale in 2022. It involved around 40 food trucks. A regular Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event, in comparison, typically features closer to 20 food trucks. After switching locations to Langley for a couple of years, the Food Truck Wars event returned to Surrey in 2025 and is back there again in 2026.
This year Food Truck Wars happens at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of April 10th to 12th. It features 40 food vendors, a beverage garden for adults and a Kid Zone with family-friendly activities. There is also live entertainment and artisan vendors on site.
If you’re looking for a wide selection of food truck cuisine, entertainment and other fun in Surrey, then Food Truck Wars is a fabulous event to check out. Admission is by donation with partial proceeds benefiting The White Rock Titans. It’s a non-profit organization that helps kids participate in football and cheerleading.

When and Where
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival hosts Food Truck Wars at the Cloverdale Rodeo Fairgrounds. The venue’s address is 6050 176th Street.
In 2026 the event takes place on the weekend of April 10th, 11th and 12th. It runs from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on the Friday. On the Saturday it runs from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and on the Sunday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm.
Food Truck Participants
Just a few of the many vendors participating in 2026 include Beavertails, Dos Amigos, G’s Donairs, Gary’s Kettle Corn, Japanese Teriyaki Express, Taste of Malaysia and Lemon Heaven. There is also Mom’s Grilled Cheese, Roasted Revolution, Slavic Rolls, Street Dogs, Taco Nori, Tin Lizzy Mini Donut Factory, and so many more.
