Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol in Vancouver

The Arts Club Theatre Company hosts shows at three different venues each year. The theatre company’s 2024-2025 season featured 12 different productions, including Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol on the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.

The play is a Christmas-themed musical with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. It’s based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The show is perfect for the holiday season!

Set in East Tennessee in the 1930s, the story stars Ebenezer Scrooge as a mining company owner. The greedy man’s life changes after ghosts visit him just before Christmas. The play is full of great songs with live vocals and instrumentation. It’s a family-friendly show with country roots and lots of holiday cheer!

Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol ran on most days between November 14th and December 24th in 2024. There were no shows on Mondays but they happened on all other days of the week.

Performances take place on the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage. The venue is located at 2750 Granville Street in Vancouver and seats 620 people. It’s a historical building that’s rented for all sorts of events. There’s also a bar in the lobby with snacks and drinks available for purchase.

About the Arts Club Theatre

The Arts Club Theatre Company operates three different theatre venues in Vancouver.
