The Coquitlam Food Truck Festival is an annual event that features a couple of dozen food vendors and an artisan market at Town Centre Park.
It’s one of nine or so similar events put on by the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival each year. This year the event takes the form of a “Community Block Party” on the Mother’s Day Weekend of May 7th and 8th.
For full details about the event in May of 2022, see the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival‘s website.

Tips and Advice
Below are some suggestions to help you make the most out of your visit to the Coquitlam Food Truck Festival.
TIP #1: Take public transit if you can. The Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain Station is just a short walk away.
TIP #2: Town Centre Park is a beautiful park with a wide range of amenities. If you have young children don’t forget to spend time at the playground and water park. Lafarge Lake is also a wonderful spot to walk around.
TIP #3: If you like barbecued ribs be sure to check out the menu at Guerilla Q (if you see them). They have some especially tasty stuff! And if you like Mexican, then Tacofino is also an excellent choice and they are frequently at this event! It’s hard to go wrong with food truck cuisine, but these are two of our favourites!
