The False Creek Farmers Market is a new market at Olympic Village Square in False Creek. It’s open on Thursdays in the summer between July and October.
False Creek Farmers Market at Olympic Village Square
Operating since 2021, the False Creek Farmers Market runs weekly in the summer to help support local farmers.
The False Creek Farmers Market is a smaller market. It hosts 25 or more vendors each week. Shoppers can expect to find a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared foods and other vendors on-site.
When and Where
The False Creek Farmers Market used to take place at Concord Pacific Place. In 2025, however, it was supposed to take place instead at Expo Deck in the City of Vancouver. That location is between the Creekside Community Centre and Science World. However, the area is closed for repairs in 2025. Instead, this year’s market is held at Olympic Village Square. The new place is located along Athletes Way between Manitoba Street and Salt Street in the heart of Olympic Village.
In 2025 the market is scheduled to run on Thursdays between July 3rd and October 2nd. Hours of operation are from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
While in the area, we recommend taking a leisurely walk or cycle along the False Creek Seawall. It’s one of the best places to explore in Metro Vancouver. Science World is a short walk away from the market too and always makes for a fun visit.

Note: During the winter season, the Vancouver Farmers Market sets up at Riley Park at 50 East 30th Avenue and Ontario Street (near Nat Bailey Stadium). The market at Riley Park normally runs on Sundays between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm from November to March. There also used to be the Hastings Park Farmers Market during the winter season at the PNE Fairgrounds. This second winter market didn’t happen in the 2024/25 season, however. Hopefully it will again in a future year.
