Operating since 2021, the False Creek Farmers Market runs weekly in the spring and summer to help support local farmers.

The False Creek Farmers Market is a smaller market. It hosts two dozen or more vendors each week. Shoppers can expect to find a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared foods and other vendors on-site.

When and Where?

In 2026 the False Creek Farmers Market takes place between May 14th and October 29th at Olympic Village.

The False Creek Farmers Market used to take place at Concord Pacific Place in previous years. Instead, the market has now moved to Olympic Village Square. The new place is located along Athletes Way between Manitoba Street and Salt Street in the heart of Olympic Village.

The market typically runs on Thursdays between mid-May and late October. Hours of operation are usually from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The market will not open on three days during the season in 2026 – June 18th, 25th and July 2nd. That’s because FIFA is in town until July 7th, and events can’t happen that close to BC Place Stadium when the World Cup soccer tournament is happening.

TIP: While in the area, we recommend taking a leisurely walk or cycle along the False Creek Seawall. It’s one of the best places to explore in Metro Vancouver. Science World is a short walk away from the market too and always makes for a fun visit.

Note: During the winter season, the Vancouver Farmers Market sets up at Riley Park at 50 East 30th Avenue and Ontario Street (near Nat Bailey Stadium). The market at Riley Park normally runs on Sundays between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm from November to March.
