Fraser Valley Wedding Festival Fashion Show

The Fraser Valley Wedding Festival is a bridal show that takes place in Langley and/or Abbotsford. It features all kinds of wedding services providers.

In 2023 the bridal fair-style event happened in March, September and November. In 2024, the event runs on October 27th at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre in Abbotsford.

WEST COAST WEDDING SHOW

Another great bridal fair-type event is the West Coast Wedding Show. It happens in Burnaby on May 5th, 2024, at the Hilton Hotel in Metrotown.

Wedding Shows in Langley and Abbotsford

The Fraser Valley Wedding Festival is the longest-running show of its kind in the Fraser Valley. It used to be an annual event in the spring. However, now it’s grown into a bigger festival with three events each year.

The show is perfect for anyone planning a wedding. It’s a one-stop event where you can meet all sorts of wedding professionals. There are usually over 50 exhibitor booths to explore, including companies that offer catering, photography and decoration services.

The Fraser Valley Wedding Festival also features a fashion show with inspirational dresses and suits for upcoming brides and grooms. There’s typically live music and a bar selling alcoholic beverages as well. Each event also offers gift bags to take home and valuable prizes to win.

When and Where

The shows normally take place in Langley and Abbotsford. 2023 was no exception.

The first show last year happened on Sunday, March 26th, at the Cascades Casino Resort, located at 20394 Fraser Highway in Langley. It ran from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, but the first 90 minutes was for VIP ticket holders only.

The second show took place on Sunday, September 24th, but at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre. It’s at 36035 N Parallel Road in Abbotsford.

The final show of 2023 happened on Sunday, November 5th, back at the Cascades Casino Resort in Langley.

In 2024 the show happens on Sunday, October 27th at Abbotsford’s Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre.

Bridal Show Ticket Prices

General admission to each show usually costs about $10 per person. Children ages 12 and under normally enter for free. Details about prices in 2024 are to be confirmed.

One hundred VIP tickets were also available for the March 26th show in 2023. They were $20 per pair, so the same price per ticket as general admission! VIP tickets included early access to the show and the ability to bypass lineups. All VIP ticket holders were also guaranteed a gift bag.

What to Expect

At the Fraser Valley Wedding Festival you can expect to see lots of wedding, bridal shower and honeymoon-related product and service providers. It’s great, because everything you could possibly want to have or learn about is all in one big room (or maybe a couple of rooms). There are product experts on pretty much every wedding-related topic.

In addition to lots of product and service vendors, and lots of engaged couples, and future mothers-in-law, at the event there are also presentations, music and prizes. You can learn a lot at the event, and get a huge head start on your planning. It can also be fun.
