Vancouver Wedding Shows and Bridal Fairs

A number of bridal fairs and wedding shows take place in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. They are great for people planning to get married.

There is the Fraser Valley Wedding Festival, All Dressed in White Bridal Show, Crème de la Crème, West Coast Wedding Show, and Original Bridal Swap. There is also the Vancouver Wedding & Honeymoon Expo.

2024 WEST COAST WEDDING SHOW

The West Coast Wedding Show is coming to Metro Vancouver this spring! It takes place on May 5th, 2024, at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown Hotel in Burnaby. The event features more than 30 wedding professionals from different companies. There’s also a fashion show and other entertainment to enjoy, plus some huge prizes to win!

Vancouver Wedding Expos and Bridal Shows

Planning a wedding can be a difficult task, but there are lots of special shows and events in the Vancouver region that can make things easier for couples. Events range from bridal fashion shows to huge fairs with vendors for all of your wedding needs. In addition to being one-stop events for wedding planners, most of the shows also feature valuable giveaways ranging from bridal gift bags to expensive honeymoon trips.

In this article we share details about some of the best wedding-related expos and shows to check out throughout the year. All Dressed in White Bridal Show (ADIW)

The All Dressed in White Bridal Show is a fun event for engaged couples and friends looking to plan their dream wedding. There are many great local vendors on-site, including but not limited to photography teams, venue representatives, hair stylists and caterers. Engaged couples in attendance can win valuable prizes as well.

There are three ADIW shows happening in 2024. The first was on February 4th at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel which is at 15269 104 Avenue in Surrey, BC. The second show runs on Sunday, March 24th. It’s at the Executive Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre at 405 North Road in Coquitlam. The third event is on Sunday, November 3rd, at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club, again in Coquitlam.

Crème de la Crème

The Crème de la Crème event describes itself as “the most opulent event of the year.” It features an elegant fashion show for upcoming brides. The event also includes manicures, makeovers, food and more. It’s a relaxing day full of pampering. Types of exhibitors you can expect to see at Crème de la Crème include videographers, entertainers, jewellers, décor services, and more.

In 2024 the event took place on February 18th at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver at 39 Smithe Street. The wedding showcase ran from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Early bird tickets cost $35 each online.

WESTIN BAYSHORE HOTEL, VANCOUVER

There are lots of great hotels for honeymoons and wedding receptions in the Lower Mainland. A great one is the Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver. We’ve never had a wedding there, but we have stayed at the hotel a few times and loved the place. Fraser Valley Wedding Festival

The Fraser Valley Wedding Festival is “the longest-running wedding show in the Fraser Valley.” There are usually three events each year in either Abbotsford or Langley. The first event of 2023 was on March 26th. Other shows that year happened on September 24th and November 5th. In 2024, they have an event on April 21st.

Regardless of which show you attend, you can expect to see a large marketplace, fashion shows featuring styles from multiple stores, and gift bags valued at over $1,000 for early guests. The events also feature DJ music and a bar for adults.

General admission for the first show last year cost $10 per person. VIP admission, meanwhile, cost $20 for two tickets and included early access, a guaranteed gift bag and more. Prices for the other shows are likely to be similar.

Original Bridal Swap

The Original Bridal Swap event brings past brides and upcoming brides together. Unlike most other wedding shows in Metro Vancouver, at this event you’ll find both new and used items available for purchase. There are used decorations, accessories and other treasures to browse. There’s also a Wedding Dress Pop-Up Shop with lots of discounted dresses to try on and buy.

In 2023 the event happened on Sunday, April 2nd, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. The event took place at Congregation Beth Israel Vancouver at 989 West 28th Avenue. Admission cost $15 or $25 depending on whether you wanted regular tickets or early-bird access to the products.

The event was going to happen again in 2024, on March 10th, at the same venue that hosted the show in 2023. This year’s event, however, has been postponed. When exactly it happens is to be confirmed.

The Bride Getting Ready

West Coast Wedding Show

The West Coast Wedding Show is a fancy bridal exhibition full of the region’s top vendors. There are dozens of wedding professionals offering advice, products and services. It’s a one-day affair that also includes fashion shows and other forms of entertainment. Admission comes with the chance to win one of several prizes. For example, this year, one lucky guest can win a seven-night honeymoon package for a resort in Mexico.

In 2024 the event takes place on Sunday, May 5th. It’s held at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, located at 6083 McKay Avenue. The event begins at 10:00 am and finishes at 4:00 pm. Tickets cost about $20 per person this year.

Vancouver Wedding Expo

The Vancouver Wedding Expo is a one-stop event for wedding planning. It happens at the same time and place as the Vancouver International Travel Expo, which also makes it a great event for honeymoon planning. There are over 200 exhibitors to check out, including travel experts, venue representatives, hair and makeup artists, caterers and other wedding professionals. Attendees are automatically entered into draws to win valuable prizes.

In 2024 the Vancouver Wedding Expo is in Hall B at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Saturday, September 28th. It starts at 11:00 am and ends at 4:30 pm. General admission costs about $10 per person.
