Abbotsford Spring and Summer Flowers

The Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival debuted at Lakeland Flowers in the warm months of 2023, immediately after the Abbotsford Tulip Festival. In 2026 the tulip displays are up from April 13th until May 3rd. After that, there’s an impressive variety of other blooms to explore, including lavender, lupins, peonies, and meadow flowers until July 1st. Lakeland Flowers is where you’ll see endless fields of colourful flowers for a few months each year.

A couple of years ago the Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival ran for much of the summer, and it included the Abbotsford Sunflower Festival late in the season. In 2026, however, the festival only runs until Canada Day.

Location and Hours

In 2026 the summer flower displays will likely be up from early to mid-May until July 1st. The exact opening date is to be confirmed, as it depends on when the Abbotsford Tulip Festival comes to an end.

Lakeland Flowers is located at 3663 Marion Road in Abbotsford. Free parking is available on-site. There is also an overflow parking lot, so there’s plenty of space.

Admission Prices

Prices to visit the fields normally depend on how many flower stems you wish to purchase. A couple of years ago, each stem was $3 (plus tax) and entry to the festival was included with the purchase of at least one stem. There was also a drone fee of $10 for anyone who wished to fly a small drone over the flowers to take videos and pictures.

As of early March, 2026 admission details for seeing the flowers after the tulip festival are to be confirmed.
