Everything Electric Canada in 2024
Everything Electric Canada is an award-winning “Festival of Electrification.” It’s a touring exhibition for everything and anything related to electric vehicles and home energy.
The festival’s first ever event in Canada was Fully Charged LIVE in Vancouver last year. It was back again in 2024, with a new name and nearly twice the size. The rechristened Everything Electric Canada took place from Friday, September 6th, until Sunday, September 8th. Close to 33,000 people attended the festival this year.
The event was held at the West Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre, located at 1055 Canada Place.
The Everything Electric series hosts similar shows across the globe. Along with the Vancouver show there are multiple ones in England and one in Australia. The organization also runs the fairly popular Everything Electric Show YouTube channel.
Event Highlights and Activities
Everything Electric Canada is a family-friendly event with all sorts of things to see and do. It’s a fun place for vehicle enthusiasts and as well as for folks looking for an interesting event showcasing technology, environmentally-friendly solutions and lots of cool things. Expect to see people of all ages in and around the Vancouver Convention Centre throughout the weekend.
The event features many of the world’s top automobile brands and manufacturers. Each brand shows off its latest electric vehicles. This year, the VinFast VF9 was revealed to Canadians for the first time ever.
At Everything Electric Canada, guests won’t only be looking at vehicles. They can also test drive some of the electric cars themselves! In fact, the 2024 festival featured an even larger space for test driving than last year’s event. Folks were able to experience other forms of electric transportation again as well, such as e-bikes, e-scooters, motorcycles and more.
For kids, there are different eco-themed activities. Last year’s event featured a city built with Lego and some artwork to admire. There were also experiments to participate in on each day of the event courtesy of Science World on the Road. Younger kids enjoyed book readings, sharing notes of kindness and other fun.

Presenters and Speakers
In addition to all of the vehicles to see and test, Everything Electric Canada also offers educational talks and sessions to attend. There are experts from a variety of fields to learn from. The event is where you’ll hear home energy tips, innovative ideas and ways to contribute to a greener future.
Speakers include electric vehicle manufacturers, environmental advocates, educators, local politicians, and members of BC Hydro and similar organizations.
The programming for each day begins with an “Electric Fireside Chat” at around 10:30 am. These talks feature keynote speakers who touch on various aspects of our energy future. Afterwards there are regular panels running in two different theatres throughout the day. All told there were over 50 different sessions at the 2024 event!

Electric Car Manufacturers
Electric vehicle car brands at the event this year included Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GM, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Polestar, Rivian, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen and Volvo, plus possibly a few more. You were able to see so many of the latest models, and you could try many of them out too! Everything Electric Canada offers the largest EV test drive experience in the entire country!
