In past years, the team hosted its own signature events such as, Food Truck Wars, Chilliwack Party in the Park, Chilliwack Ribfest, the White Rock Night Markets and others.

Food Truck Festivals in the Lower Mainland
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival has hosted a series of events in different Lower Mainland communities. Admission was usually free, and occasionally by donation. Visitors paid only for the food and items they purchased.
Events typically take place at various times throughout the spring and summer. Some happen in early April, others in mid-summer, and one runs on recurring dates over multiple months.

Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival Events
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival has hosted a series of events in different communities. Admission was usually free, and occasionally by donation. Visitors paid only for the food and items they purchased.
Food Truck Festival Events
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival organizes the following events.
- Food Truck Fest at UBC – held on the first weekend in April near the AMS Nest. (April 1st & 2nd in 2026)
- Cloverdale Food Truck Wars – a competitive food truck event held over a weekend in mid-April at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. (April 10th to 12th in 2026)
- Chilliwack Party in the Park – a spring event that generally runs over a weekend in late April at Central Community Park. (April 25th to 26th in 2026)
- White Rock Night Markets – once-a-month on Friday evenings between May and September, running along the White Rock waterfront.
- Chilliwack Ribfest – a multi-day summer event featuring barbecued ribs and live music at Vedder River Park. (July 24th to 26th, 2026)
Events that the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival has participated in, but doesn’t host itself, are the Langley Community Day, FVDED in the Park, Abbotsford Berry Fest, Salmon Summer Music Festival, and Canada Day events in Abbotsford, Langley and Maple Ridge. These other events are expected to return in similar formats in 2026, with exact details to be confirmed.

The following Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival events happened in previous years and may or may not return in 2026.
- Coquitlam Community Fest – in late April at Town Centre Park.
- Food Truck Fest at BCIT – on a May weekend at BCIT in Burnaby.
- Mission Ribfest – at Fraser River Heritage Park in early August.
- Dished Food Truck Fest – in šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square outside the Vancouver Art Gallery in mid-August.

What to Expect at a Food Truck Event
At a typical Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival event, visitors could expect to find 20 or more food trucks serving a wide range of cuisine. Offerings usually included comfort food, and desserts.
Most events also featured live music, an artisan vendor area, and family-friendly activities. Craft stations and face painting were common additions, making the festivals enjoyable for visitors of all ages.
