Hilton Vancouver Downtown Hotel

Formerly called the Westin Grand (up until the beginning of January 2021), the Hilton Vancouver Downtown is a 4-star hotel near the Vancouver Public Library.

Built in 1999, the 31-storey hotel is located at 433 Robson Street.

Downtown Vancouver’s Hilton Hotel

The large Westin Grand Hotel in Vancouver is a Hilton Hotels & Resorts building as of early January in 2021. It’s the same building, just under a different brand.

The Hilton is a luxurious 4-star hotel with a modern, up-scale and fancy interior. The hotel is 31 storeys tall with just over 200 guest rooms. Most of the rooms are one-bedroom suites. Amenities include free wireless Internet as well access to the on-site fitness centre.

Vancouver’s Hilton also has a rooftop with a heated outdoor pool that remains open throughout the year. The rooftop is at a lower level of the hotel, not at the top. It’s still very nice though. You can see where the pool-level rooftop area is in the above photo.

Inside the Hilton is the Hendricks Resto-Lounge. The restaurant is open to the public, but it is especially convenient for guests staying at the Hilton. Hendricks offers good breakfast, lunch and dinner options for food-lovers of all kinds.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the Hilton and fines are strictly enforced. Designated rooms are pet-friendly, but folks who bring along their furry companions for overnight stays are subject to additional fees.
