Aldergrove Days

One of the longest-running community events in the greater Vancouver region, Aldergrove Fair Days is a summertime tradition in Langley in July.

The event offers a wide range of activities and free admission. In 2026, the fair takes place at Kinsmen Park Field in Aldergrove from July 17th to 19th.

Other even bigger events in Langley in the summer include the Fort Langley Jazz and Arts Festival and Ribfest Langley. The first is a terrific music festival that happens over four days in late July. The other is a barbecue-themed food festival with live music and family-friendly activities that runs over three days in mid-August. It too has free admission.

Aldergrove Fair Days in Langley

Aldergrove is a small, unincorporated community within the Township of Langley. It’s also one of the oldest communities in the entire Fraser Valley.

The Aldergrove Agricultural Association was founded in 1912, and the first Aldergrove Fair was held that year. The festival has continued through to the present day, pretty much every year, attracting around 10,000 people over the weekend.

In 2026, the event celebrates its 114th year. There are usually all sorts of things to do at the fair, including midway games, contests, sports, and live entertainment.

(Note: Aldergrove Fair Days is run by the same organization that hosts the Canada Day Parade in July and the Aldergrove Christmas Light Up Parade in December.)

Location and Admission

Aldergrove Fair Days takes place at Kinsmen Park Field, 3190 271 Street in Aldergrove.

The fair typically opens from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturday, and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.

You don’t need a ticket to attend the fair. Admission is by donation, so you can pay as much as you want. Although admission is free, you still need to pay for a few activities (if you want to do them) and for your food and drinks.

Fair Attractions in 2026

There is a lot going on at Aldergrove Fair Days. In 2026, visitors can expect live entertainment on the Main Stage, along with popular attractions such as the Aldy Show ’n Shine Car Show, pig races, fair games and an antique tractor pull.

There are also plenty of other things to see and do throughout the weekend. The fair features a 50/50 draw, Chicken Bingo, prize exhibits, antique military displays, food trucks, artisan vendors and a Beverage Garden for adults.

The event also has a strong community and agricultural focus. There are educational exhibits, demonstrations, talks, children’s activities and prize exhibits covering everything from garden produce and homemaking to crafts and photography.

Families with children can spend time in the Kids’ Zone, which includes arts and crafts, face painting and games. There is also plenty of entertainment to watch, including dog shows, music and other live performances.

Admission to the fair is by donation, but some activities cost extra. These can include midway games, food and drinks, plus a small number of rides and inflatables for younger children.

Fast Draw and Other Competitions

There are different prize exhibits, such as baking, gardening, and other categories, as well as a Fast-draw World Championships. Fast draw is a sport that requires lightning-quick reflexes. Each participant has a gun holstered on their side (loaded with blanks) that they must draw and fire quickly at a target when signalled. They are timed, and the fastest shooter wins.
