The Coquitlam Christmas Night Market is a winter holiday artisan market at the Evergreen Cultural Centre by the Lights at LaFarge event in Town Centre Park.

With over 40 vendors, it’s a great event. In 2026 the market takes place on November 29th as well as on December 11th and 12th. The first day of the season for Lights at LaFarge, meanwhile, is on Friday, November 27th.

Christmas Night Market in Coquitlam

Lights at LaFarge is one of Metro Vancouver’s best Christmas lights attractions. It’s free to attend and features beautiful Christmas illuminations around the landmark lake. The attraction runs from late November until around mid-February each year.

The Coquitlam Christmas Night Market, meanwhile, is an artisan craft fair that has been running for a number of years. It’s a good-sized craft fair. As many as 50 vendors participate. It’s a really nice market, both for the quality of the participating vendors and for the location.

Where, When and How Much is the Night Market?

The Coquitlam Christmas Night Market takes place indoors at the Evergreen Cultural Centre. The venue is at 1205 Pinetree Way in the southwest corner of Coquitlam‘s Town Centre Park. It’s right by both LaFarge Lake and the LaFarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain Station.

In 2026 the market happens on the Sunday of November 29th. It also takes place on the Friday and Saturday of December 11th and 12th. Hours of operation are from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the Sunday in November. In December it goes from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the Friday and from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on the Saturday.

General admission costs just $3 for adults, with partial proceeds benefiting the Royal Columbian Hospital. Kids ages 16 and under get in for free.
