Westwood Plateau on Coquitlam’s Eagle Mountain features an 18-hole championship course, a 9-hole executive course, a driving range, golf simulators and more.
The 18-hole course is closed for the winter season. It likely reopens in mid-April.

Coquitlam’s Westwood Plateau Golf Club
Westwood Plateau is a golfing destination in the City of Coquitlam. It has two separate but nearby locations, both of which offer golfing and dining on beautiful Eagle Mountain. Views from both courses are wonderful as you can see a combination of mountains, water and the city below (or at least you can on clear days).
Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club boasts an 18-hole championship course. It’s a par 72 that plays 6770 yards from the tips. Golfers here are treated to a rather unique environment full of Douglas Fir trees and huge rock faces.
One interesting element of the course’s design is that each hole is well-separated from the others. While on one fairway, golfers can’t see other fairways for the most part, thanks to houses, thick rows of trees and the course’s extra-wide layout. All power carts feature GPS capabilities that help golfers plan their shots. This location also has a large clubhouse, banquet rooms and the Après restaurant.
The second Westwood Plateau location offers an executive course with 9 holes. Although smaller in size, the course is still challenging in its own right due to intimidating changes in elevation. The course is a par 31 that plays 1805 yards from the most difficult tees. Also at the executive course is a driving range, a pro shop, an area for lessons, three practice holes and two golf simulator rooms that can be reserved in advance. The main dining option here is Fairways Grill & Patio.
Where is Westwood Plateau?
Main entrances to the two courses are separate, but they are only a 5-minute drive from each other. The executive course is located at 1630 Parkway Boulevard. The championship course, meanwhile, is at 3251 Plateau Boulevard.
If you have the time and want to extend your outing, it might be worth stopping by at Lafarge Lake, which is less than 10 minutes away by car. From late November to January is when the path around the lake is usually decorated with thousands of Christmas illuminations for the Lights at Lafarge event.
Westwood Plateau Green Fees
Rates for both courses at Westwood Plateau change based on the season and time of day.
In January 2025, prime time rates for the executive 9-hole course are about $24 on weekends and $19 on weekdays. Rates in the summer typically increase, although exact details for this year are to be confirmed.
The 18-hole course is closed for the winter. Prime time rates from a couple of years ago were about $106 on weekdays and $119 on weekends. 2025 rates may be similar. Golfers are also able to use the locker rooms and shower facilities.
Events at Westwood Plateau
Similar to other golf courses, Westwood Plateau can be a great place to host a wedding, business or personal event. The club sometimes offers its own events as well. For example, the Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival takes place in March. It’s a popular event with beer and food samples. Another event that sometimes happens at the golf club is the All Dressed in White Bridal Show.
