Ladner in Delta
Ladner is a small community situated along the Fraser River. More specifically, it’s located between Tsawwassen (which is in South Delta) and Richmond. The area was originally a fishing village and today it’s known as the hub of Delta’s agriculture industry.
Ladner Events
Ladner hosts a few popular events throughout the year, including Ladner May Days, the Ladner Village Market and the Barnside Harvest Festival. Details about all three events are below.
Ladner May Days
Ladner May Days is an annual community fair that takes place at Memorial Park on a weekend in May. The event is completely free to attend and features a number of family-friendly activities. There’s live music, a parade and a fastball tournament. There are also amusement rides for people who purchase tickets. Food trucks and vendors are on site as well.

Ladner Village Market
The Ladner Village Market is an impressive market held along 48th Avenue. It takes place between Elliot Street and Delta Street in the summer. The market happens on select Sundays between June and September. There are usually more than 150 vendors each day selling everything from fresh produce to homemade creations.

Barnside Harvest Festival
The Barnside Harvest Festival also takes place in Ladner during the fall. The event includes a number of market vendors and lots of live entertainment at Paterson Park.
