A fun, free attraction in the summer and early fall, the Fort Langley Night Market has dozens of vendors, food and drink options, and live entertainment.

The market takes place in Fort Langley on Fridays in the summer. It usually runs until late September.

Fort Langley’s Friday Night Market

In 2021 the Fort Langley Project held the inaugural Fort Langley Night Market every Friday from the end of July until the Thanksgiving Long Weekend. The event was a success and has returned each year since then.

Around 40 vendors set up shop at the market each week. It’s a licensed event so adults can purchase drinks including local beer and wine. There are also food trucks, a stage with live music, and an area for kids as well.

Where and When

The Fort Langley Night Market takes place at the corner of Glover Road and Mary Avenue, right near Fort Langley Community Hall.

The market runs every Friday from the end of June until the end of September. In 2025 we’re predicting the market will run from June 27th until September 26th, but we’re not sure. Exact details are to be confirmed. If it’s the same as it has been the last couple of years, the market will open at 5:00 pm and close at 10:00 pm each night.

What to Expect

The market changes slightly each week with some vendors dropping in and out and new ones joining over the course of the season. You can expect around 36 to 48 different vendors to be at the site each Friday. At the market you can find everything from clothes to cosmetics, candles, art supplies and more.

The night market is meant to not just be a place for shopping but also a spot to hang out. There are plenty of food and drinks to be tried with an extensive menu of beer, wine, cider and spirits for those who are 19+. For the younger folks there are kids’ activities including face painting, crafts and a playground to enjoy.

There is also live music that plays over the course of the evening. As of May last year, the night market’s website didn’t have a schedule laid out for its performances for the season. However, the Fort Langley Project Facebook page usually posts who is performing each week ahead of time.
