Harvest Haus is a Vancouver Oktoberfest event featuring European beers, food and live entertainment at the PNE.
Usually the Harvest Haus event takes place in late September or early October. In 2025, it happens on October 3rd and 4th.
Around the same time the Austria Vancouver Club hosts several Oktoberfest events of its own. For a traditional Austrian–German celebration, check their calendar as well.
Another great beer event to check out is Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Festival which runs from November 7th to 20th, 2025.

Harvest Haus Vancouver
Harvest Haus is one of Vancouver’s largest and most impressive Oktoberfest events. The dates for the 2025 Harvest Haus event are October 3rd and 4th.
Harvest Haus Location
Years ago Harvest Haus was held under a Festzelte in the plaza outside the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Since 2019 it has been at the PNE Forum located at the Pacific National Exhibition, 2901 East Hastings Street.
Harvest Haus returns to the PNE Forum in 2025. Staff dress the older venue as a traditional beer hall. Guests can enter the Harvest Haus event via the park on the far side of the PNE Forum, opposite Hastings Street.
Harvest Haus Times and Dates in 2025
Harvest Haus in 2025 takes place on the Friday and Saturday of October 3rd and 4th.
Harvest Haus Festival Times
The Harvest Haus event is open to the public at the following times.
(Note: Exact details are subject to change.)
- Friday, October 3rd, 2025 – from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
- Saturday, October 4th, 2025 – from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Harvest Haus Admission Prices
Admission to Harvest Haus depends on whether you choose General Admission (standing) or a reserved table.
General Admission costs $30–$65 depending on when you purchase the ticket. The earlier the purchase, the cheaper the ticket usually is. Tables are reserved for six people and cost $445 or $620, depending on the purchase date. The table reservation includes six tickets and a table reserved exclusively for you for the entire night.
Admission grants access to the beer hall venue, which includes food vendors, beer stalls, live entertainment and a festive atmosphere. Admission also includes a souvenir beer stein. Food and drinks cost extra.
What to Expect at Harvest Haus
The Oktoberfest-themed Harvest Haus event takes place indoors at the PNE Forum. Colourful banners decorate the Forum and it resembles a genuine German beer hall.
The atmosphere inside the hall is always festive, especially as each evening progresses and the place fills up. There are occasional mini-skits by entertainers with German accents dressed in lederhosen and other traditional clothing. There is also a band playing lively music, and lots of people are having fun with their friends.
The Oktoberfest beer-drinking event attracts a crowd of mixed ages, but predominantly those in the 25- to 45-year-old range, based on our past observations. Everyone from the age of 19 and above to senior citizens generally has a great time!
Oktoberfest Food & Drinks
Harvest Haus uses a digital token system called Gülden for drinks. Most beverages cost 5–8 Gülden (e.g., 500 ml beer, 5 oz wine, hard seltzer), with some priced higher. Food payment is accepted only by credit or debit. Gülden currency isn’t usable for food.
In past years, food items have ranged from $2 to $15. Menus have featured pork hocks, bratwurst with sauerkraut on a bun, German-style pizza, as well as pretzels, strudels, and other baked goods. Offerings vary by year.
Beer and cider have typically run $10 to $12 in previous years. Taps often include Erdinger Weissbräu, Radeberger, Hacker-Pschorr, Heineken, Newcastle Brown Ale (UK), Lagunitas (US), and local Parallel 49. Non-beer options usually include apple cider and Jägermeister (a German herbal liqueur with sweet licorice notes).
Tips & Advice
Below is some advice and extra information to help you make the most of your Harvest Haus experience.
TIP #1: The event draws big crowds. Reserve tickets early. Many sittings sell out quickly, and prices are lower the earlier you buy.
TIP #2: This is the kind of event that is most fun when you go with a large group of friends. As they say, “the more the merrier!”
TIP #3: Wearing traditional lederhosen and dirndl isn’t required, but many attendees dress up adding to the fun. Dress up or not—you’ll fit right in. Souvenir outfits and accessories are usually available for purchase on-site.
TIP #4: There are usually no in-and-out privileges at Harvest Haus. Once inside the venue, you can’t exit the event grounds, go back to your car, retrieve something, and then return.
