A large Vancouver gambling venue, River Rock Casino is across from the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station not far from YVR Airport and the Richmond Night Market.
The River Rock Casino is one of Metro Vancouver’s main casinos (with the others being the Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby, the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam [formerly known as the Hard Rock Casino], and the Parq Vancouver Casino).
After closing near the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the resort and its casino reopened on July 1st, 2021.
River Rock Casino in Richmond
Until the arrival of Parq Vancouver in 2017, the River Rock was the Lower Mainland’s largest casino with over 1,100 slot machines. It also apparently had “the most Baccarat tables in North America,” plus regular games of chance like Poker, Roulette and Blackjack. The casino is open 24 hours a day so you can go anytime you want.
If you’re feeling peckish after all the gambling or want to grab a bite to eat before an event at the casino, there a few dining options in or near the resort. There are the Sea Harbour and Chopsticks Noodlehouse restaurants specialising in Chinese cuisine. Rock House Burgers & Fries serves up the kind of dishes its name implies, while Zio’s caters to pizza lovers. And, of course, there’s a Starbucks for a quick beverage and snack.
The River Rock Casino is right outside the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station at 8811 River Road. It’s not far from Vancouver International Airport and the Richmond Night Market (which is open from May until October). The facilities offer table games, slots and evening shows and concerts, plus its four-star hotel.

Events at the River Rock Casino
The River Rock Casino has a theatre where shows, concerts and other events take place from time to time. The venue is also used for conventions. An example of an annual event at the venue is the BrickCan LEGO Show which usually happens in the spring.
